I was in a Williams-Sonoma store recently when one of the culinary experts handed out samples of a frittata made using our Frittata & Omelette Starters. True, the starters easily transform eggs into a delicious brunch dish — but there are plenty of other ways to use them in meals.
The starters come in three flavors: Roasted Red Pepper & Kalamata Olive; Fire-Roasted Corn, Chili & Onion; and Sun-Dried Tomato & Artichoke.
Get creative with these versatile condiments! Here are a few of my ideas:
- Pasta salad. Boil short pasta (fusilli or farfalle will work well) and stir in the starter for a quick lunch or picnic dish (Sun-Dried Tomato & Artichoke would be a great match). Add Parmesan or goat cheese, if you like.
- Crostini. We love how crostini make elegant foundations for party appetizers. Top toast rounds with your favorite flavor of starter — or try all three to give guests some variety.
- Sandwich spread. The Roasted Red Pepper & Kalamata Olive starter will jazz up leftover chicken in a panini, and Fire-Roasted Corn, Chili & Onion would top a burger perfectly.
