Behind the Scenes at a Williams-Sonoma Video Shoot

Behind the Scenes, Meet, Williams-Sonoma Behind the Scenes

Yesterday I assisted at my first video shoot for Williams-Sonoma.com and learned what goes into making our website’s product demonstrations. Our crew of eight camped out at the Williams-Sonoma flagship store on Post Street in San Francisco, and after a long day of filming (and eating!), we wrapped up videos for five different products.

The cast of characters includes the film crew, food stylists, the on-camera talent and Williams-Sonoma E-Marketing team. Click on the first photo below to scroll through the complete slideshow and see how we bring our videos to you.

About the author: Olivia Terenzio grew up in Mississippi, where she cultivated a love of sweet potatoes, crawfish and cloth napkins at a young age. A passion for sharing food with friends and family led her into the kitchen and later to culinary school, where she learned how to roast a chicken and decorate a cake like a pro. As a Williams-Sonoma blog editor, she’s now lucky enough to be talking, writing and thinking about food all day.

Ms. Kara does such a professional job on the videos for Williams Sonoma. My four young children love to watch her. Several times we have bought products that she has demonstrated. She enunciates clearly and we understand everything. Plus, she has such a professional and clean appearance. I’m tempted to buy the All Clad slow cooker just because she showcased it with a chili recipe! You ought to give her a raise!! :)
