We are thrilled that Better Homes & Gardens is featuring our Creative Director, Anna Last, in their latest issue! The Australia native turned San Francisco transplant is the subject of a colorful, inspiring spread all about entertaining friends at home — even when work is demanding.
Anna shows readers how to pull off an impromptu dinner party with a little organization, a well-stocked pantry, and a few signature dishes, like her roasted tomatoes. Her eclectic table layers old and new pieces — treasures she’s collected at flea markets over the years next to items chosen from retail stores. Coupled with a casual, family-style atmosphere, it’s a recipe for success.
“Food itself is an experience, and experiences come together to create a lifestyle,” she told Better Homes & Gardens. “At Williams-Sonoma, it’s my job to convey the joyfulness that’s possible in the preparation and sharing of food. We all have to eat, so we might as well make it meaningful — without trying too hard.”
