As we learned on Williams-Sonoma’s Fire, Smoke & Flavor tour, Kansas City barbecue is the best kind of mishmash of Southern smoking styles. The team traveled with Michael and Bryan Voltaggio to Danny Edwards’s BLVD BBQ and Jeff Stehney’s Oklahoma Joe’s, tasting award-winning ribs, pulled pork, slow-cooked brisket, smoky-sweet sauce and crispy onion rings.
