Using a spiralizer is one new way to mix up your salad routine. With a handheld spiralizer or a countertop spiralizer like the Paderno 4-Blade Spiralizer, you can create long, meaty ribbons of any hearty vegetable, from carrots to zucchini to daikon radishes. Here are three spiralized salad recipes that serve as great jumping-off points.
Apple, Fennel and Radish Salad
This refreshing salad is most colorful when made with a watermelon radishes, but you can substitute red radishes if watermelon radishes aren’t available.
Farmers’ Market Salad with Tomato-Basil Vinaigrette
This vibrantly colored salad is delicious as is, but we also love it topped with crispy garlic chips.
Beet, Fennel and Carrot Salad
This nutrient-dense salad will spark a love affair with beets. Although it’s not essential, to minimize the bleeding effect of the red beets, you can rinse and then soak the spiralized beets in cold water for 5 to 10 minutes before tossing and serving.

Well I love in florida and we have all of these veggies. Perhaps you should visit a Whole Foods or higher end grocer for these ingredients.
Pretty much none of these ingredients is available on the east coast in March (we still have snow on the ground and farmers markets don’t get in full spring swing until mid April). Get real and think about ALL of your customers, not just those in SF. What’s next artichoke recipes?
Gosh,, geez, wow.
Hope you have a better day!
