Free Technique Classes: Cast-Iron Cooking

Love all things kitchen and cooking? Then stop into your local Williams Sonoma store this weekend for a class or two on maximizing and caring for your cookware.


On Sunday, February 19, join us for our Cooking with Cast Iron class. Prized by restaurant chefs and home cooks for generations, cast-iron cookware’s an essential in any kitchen, thanks to its ability to retain heat exceptionally well and its versatility in braising one-pot meals, grilling meats and vegetables and more. Learn more about how to make the most of your cast-iron cookware (and keep it in tip-top shape).


In select stores on Saturday, February 18 and Sunday, February 19, we’ll also be talking about Hestan NanoBond, a revolutionary new kind of cookware that’s 35 percent more conductive than traditional bonded stainless-steel cookware. We’ll be featuring the new pans in a cookware demonstration, plus we’ll be giving away a 10-piece set to one lucky winner. To find out if this is happening near you, call your neighborhood store.

    I love cooking with my Le Creuset cast iron kettles and pans. I’m 80 and saw my mother using her’s for many years.
    Yes, they are expensive, but last for generations.
    They have chipped or stained but I keep using them and enjoy every minute of it.
