Staying in town over the holiday weekend? Take the time to brush up on your cooking skills (and learn some new dishes to add to your mealtime repertoire) with this week’s Cookbook Club events in store.
This Saturday, July 1 at 10 a.m., we’ll be hosting our July Cookbook Club for kids, featuring The Junior Baker Cookbook. Kids ages 8-13 are welcome to learn how to make (and taste) Egg in a Hole Sandwiches with Maple-Glazed Bacon and Mini S’mores Tarts. $30 per child includes a copy of The Junior Baker Cookbook.
On Wednesday, July 5 at 6 p.m., we’ll be hosting our July Cookbook Club for grown-ups. This month’s club features cooking school author Alison Cayne‘s book The Haven’s Kitchen Cooking School. On the menu: Grilled Sausage with Flatbread, Charred Scallions and Chimichurri, plus gorgeous fruit galette. $75 per person grants you a spot in the class as well as a copy of the cookbook.
