It’s easier than you might think to make fresh pasta at home — and loads of fun, too. With this week’s free Williams-Sonoma store classes, you’ll learn just how simple it is to mix pasta and roll it out in a hand-cranked machine.
On Saturday, August 8, our Junior Chef class will show kids aged 8-13 how to make pasta dough from scratch and hand-crank it through a machine, as well as a basil pesto to go along with it, and a taste of everything to finish.
On Sunday, August 9, our adult technique class will demonstrate everything you need to know about fresh pasta, from preparing the dough and extruding it through a machine to creating simple sauces to toss with the pasta. You’ll take home savvy shortcuts for getting pasta on the table, even when time is short.
