I wholeheartedly believe that the best gifts are ones that are handmade… and edible! Your mom will love that you took the time to make something just for her. I’ve compiled some of my favorite, quick, made from scratch ideas that she (or anyone else) will love.
It is official: I’m obsessed with all things vanilla. More specifically, with all things vanilla bean. With only a couple of vanilla beans you can put together a gift that will make your mom’s day — and continue to make her day every time as she uses it. She can use the vanilla sugar in her baking to elevate everything she makes to a new level, and she can use the syrup in her morning coffee or when she’s hosting friends.
Your Mom will love having this Homemade Lemon Curd in her refrigerator… and she’ll love it even more knowing that you made it for her. She can use it to put together a last-minute layer cake or lemon tart, or enjoy it with fresh strawberries — the possibilities are endless.
Put together a basket of all of the things your mom loves for Mother’s Day, such as a basket filled with special treats for the morning. This would be a great thing to bring along to dinner with your mom — she can enjoy it the next day and think about how much she loves you for thinking of her!

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell
and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear
and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had
to tell someone!
