Just like you can’t mention guacamole without chips, we can’t think of summer without thinking of frozen desserts. Make your next ice cream break extra-special by starting with your favorite flavor of ice cream, then serving it on top of a crisp, just-made, still-slightly-warm homemade waffle cone. Making one is much easier than you think!
|Step One: Make and Spread Batter

Preheat a nonstick waffle cone maker, then spread 1/4 cup of batter evenly across the waffle cone maker’s preheated grids. Using a small offset spatula, spread the batter evenly over the surface. Close the lid and cook for at least 1 minute before lifting the lid to check for doneness.
