may I have the recipe for pumpkin trifle
I tasted a Smoky Pumpkin Dip made with the Pumpkin Pecan Butter, but the store could not tell me where to find the recipe. I know, I am also confused as to how they made the dip without a recipe. Does anyone have such a recipe? The ingredients were cream cheese, bacon, green onions, and either chili powder or smoked paprika. Thank you!
Hi AnnB, here it is!
Savory Pecan Pumpkin Spread with Bacon
4 oz Muirhead Pecan Pumpkin Butter*
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature softened
3 strips of bacon, cooked and diced
2 green onions, finely diced
1 cup pecans, chopped
Mix ingredients together until well blended or layer cream cheese on the bottom, topped with pumpkin butter, then sprinkle bacon, green onions and pecans on top. Serve with crackers, apple slices, crudités, etc.
The squashes and pumpkins are still ripening in the garden, but in another month–or less!–it’ll be time to cook, cook, cook….
I’ve already made a couple of items with pumpkin last week, but I will definitely need to try these cookie sandwiches! Sounds delicious!
