Technique Class: Cooking What’s In Season — As the weather warms up, farmers’ markets come alive with the first of the spring season’s bounty, including baby artichokes, peas, asparagus, fava beans, baby lettuces and greens. Join us for this weekend’s in-store technique classes and learn cooking methods that best reflect the delicate flavors of the new harvest.
Junior Chef Class: Let’s Stir-Fry! — Stir-frying is an easy way to cook a meal for your family. Learn how to make some delicious meat and veggie combinations – chicken and asparagus, beef and broccoli – plus fried rice.
- These hour-long classes are FREE and include tastings of prepared dishes.
- Participants enjoy 10% savings on select same-day store purchases.
- Available at all stores; class times vary by store location.
- Class sizes are limited so call your local store to register.
*Our Junior Chef classes are designed to teach the Junior Chef (ages 6-12) about food, how to cook and seasonality. Classes are for the children; parents must stay in the store during the class, enjoy a cup of coffee on us and browse.
