Dear Karen: I teach the Technique Classes in the International Plaza Tampa store. Is this the recipe you’re looking for? : https://www.williams-sonoma.com/recipe/caramelized-onion-and-apple-tarts.html?cm_src=RECIPESEARCH
Chef Jim
No. The dish in a recent Taste email was just savory apple tart with Gruyere. The above recipe you noted is what came up when I searched the other one, which appears to be comprised of puff pastry, salt & pepper, Thyme leaves, and Granny Smith apples, topped with Gruyere cheese. No portions were listed, and I would presume you sauté the sliced apples in butter first . . . .
You direct us to your Williams Sonoma recipe website, stating that some of
your posts don’t necessarily list the specific ingredient portions. However,
I wanted the recipe for your post of “savory apple tart with Gruyere” and you
didn’t have that on your recipe website. Can you please provide that? Thanks.
Hi Karen, this may be the “loose” recipe you’re looking for on this page (bottom right): https://www.williams-sonoma.com/pages/in-season-apples.html. Hope this helps!
