Ready to jump on the juice bandwagon? We want to help you get started!

 

Throughout the month of January, we’ll be giving away each of the juicers shown in the image above. Today, enter for a chance to win a Breville Juice Fountain Crush Slow Juicer, which allows you to make your own fresh juices. The low-speed juicing system slowly crushes and then presses fruits and vegetables, delivering just enough pulp to give the juice more body and retain more nutrients.

 

To enter, just leave a comment on this post by Wednesday, January 16 at 6 p.m. (PT) telling us what you love about juicing. We’ll pick a winner at random. Want to know if you’re the lucky winner? We’ll email our prize winner on Thursday, 1/17, so be sure to check your inbox. Good luck!

    I would like to START juicing. I know there are numerous benefits to juicing, but I only have a blender which is great for smoothing, but not the clean eating diet that benefits from juicing.

    Juicing for health gives me a kickstart to cleansing and nourishing my body. When combined with meat and vegetable broths, made with the pulps, it is a great way to nourish.

    I love juicing because chewing is overrated. Gnawing on carrots isn’t my thing, but I wouldn’t think twice about sipping on some sweet, sweet carrot juice. It’s such a great way to get quality nutrients on the go

    I just visited W-S last week and spoke with an employee about juicing. He was so knowledgeable and showed me many helpful books and recipes. He even showed me how wonderfully easy it is to clean to juicer once you use it – so now that I have all this knowledge, well, I need the juicer to go along with it…

    I USE to juice…but Superstorm Sandy has currently knocked that our for me. I would love to incorporate a new juicer back into my eating/drinking routine because I use every fruit & veggie in the fridge before it goes bad! LOVE to use the leftover vegetable pulp in my spaghetti sauce-kids never figured it out! LOVE using the carrot pulp in carrot cakes as well.

    I started juicing in October. Loved it. However, I have a Ninja Blender and need to strain the juice which is time consuming and super messy. Unfortunately our budget will not let me purchase a real juicer at this time. The lack of the juicer has really cut into my juicing experience. Would love the opportunity to win one.

    Recently watched ‘Fat, Sad & Nearly Dead’ on Netflix and became intrigued with the idea of juicing. It sounds like a healthy way to help your body lose toxins clean your system. This is even the brand the documentary recommends. Unfortunately right now, this is out of our reach as my spouse lost his job.

    What I love about juicing is that I can use fruits and veggies that I was afraid to try and mix them with other things and also add in things that I didn’t like before even though they were good for me cause of the other flavors that masked them , and with my husband having a heart condition and needing a transplant it’s so beneficial for him as well he has to watch his greens cause of the blood thinners so juicing just helps our household so so so much

    I would love to have this model! We have a Juicer but it was a low end one (Military pay doesnt afford us to get a high end model) We juice everyday..not only because we love doing so but are very interested in the healing benefits for illness as I have read some great stories about people finally finding some relief after learning about juicing.

    When you can extract the wonderful juices from all the fruits and vegetables that the Lord placed on this earth for us to enjoy, that is an added plus, which I consider it to be like the nectar of this already wonderful gift that has been given to us. The juicer’s that are manufactuer and created by these companies are wonderful, and they help us to get each drop of nectar out of each fruit and vegetable that we use…Juice, Juicer’s, they are wonderful things…healthy as well!

    Our family receives a weekly organic vegetable box and frequently we have trouble eating all of the fruit so we end up using an old school hand juicer to make 1 glass of juice. A juicer would be a wonderful tool for us since we don’t like to buy juice from the store (way to much sugar).

Unfortunately the juicer that we have doesn’t allow us to juice ALL types of fruits and vegetables, so it would be really great to be able to do things like Kale or Wheatgrass, and see what sort of fun juice combinations that we can come up with! Plus, it’s great to add the leftover pulp to stews or include in marinades and find different fun uses for it.

    My husband and I love juicing! We’ve even got my parents, my brother, and my in-laws juicing too! Not only does it promote overall better health, it helped my husband drop 10 pounds in a week and keep it off! Plus, we love the energy we get from it, we’re able to keep up with our 3 year old (who also loves the juices!), and the fact that certain juices allow me to stop taking Aleve for arthritis because of the anti-inflammatory properties. Everything about juicing is awesome! :) I would love to surprise my husband with a new juicer, as ours is slowly but surely not juicing as well as it was a year ago :-/

    Juicing is an excellent way to incorporate a wide array of “new” fruits and vegetables into your diet that one might not have originally considered. Plus, beyond the added nutritional bonus of drinking your made from scratch juices, you are consuming something that has no added sugars and salts – which that in it of itself is an added health benefit.     I just recently got my step-daughter interested in juicing. She has seen what a change it has made in my life. I encouraged her to purchase a Breville juicer. I have a Jack Lalane. I didn’t want to spend much money in the beginning, as I wasn’t sure I would like juicing or be willing to stick with it ….but oh my…If I had it to do over again, I would have purchased a Breville at the start.     I have wanted a Breville Juicer since 2008, but could never afford one. I would always walk to the Mediterranean Restaurant just to have a beet apple juice to keep my blood stream healthy.     i would love to have one i have heard nothing but good things about them and i cant afford one due to the price but i am on a new health kick this year have lost 30 pounds and am looking to lose another 50 have quit smoking after 22 years and would do anything for one of these lol.     I am in Love with Juicing! I have always wanted to juice and now I get a chance to. My Aunt got me into it awhile back and I noticed how it would give her energy throughout the day. It also made her blood pressure decrease and she doesn’t take so much of her meds. I wanted to be able to get all the nutrients in the fruit and vegetable and provide an alternative for my family as well. I am still learning what veggies and fruits I am able to mix and my husband has even shown an interest! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a healthy and fun way of living!

    I am currently using a 4 cup food processor to make juice with soft fruits and soft vegetables. I don’t own a blender. Juicing helps me get a lot of nutrients and helps me gain the nutrients better and weight loss..     We really want to start juicing, but haven’t budgeted for a juicer yet. We have been improving our health and our eating habits, and juicing is the next thing we really want to start. We’ve been buying organic whenever possible. We’ve been eating a lot more raw foods. Juicing would be a fabulous next step. It’s a great weight loss tool as well. I’ve been using a blender, but it doesn’t work well with kale; it’s like drinking a salad.

Sometimes I will see less than perfect items at the farmers market at a reduced cost, produce like this is perfect for making juice.     Would love to start juicing. I do not eat enough vegetables and this would be an easy way to disguise the taste of some of them and get the nutrients I need to maintain my heart healthy diet.

    It is always interesting to see how your concoction turns out! I throw things together that sound good, but it isn’t until I taste my juice smoothie…that I KNOW it is good (or sometimes really quite horrible)! I love what it does to my skin, and knowing that when I make it for my children, I am giving them their vitamins before I send them off to battle virus bugs at school.

    I have been fighting breast cancer since march 2013 and because of the chemo my energy levels have been pretty low. I have been reading up on juicing and the great benefits of it. I have also watched fat, sick and nearly dead and seen the benefits for being healthy and losing weight. I have tasted a few juices and I think they are wonderful and taste great. I think it would be great and beneficial if I had a juicer.

    I love how easy it is to drink on the run! I often don’t have time to sit down and eat a full breakfast in the morning, but I can prep my juices the night before and drink it on the way to work! They’re also wonderful snacks and don’t take up much space in the fridge!

    I would love a juicer, primarily because I recently found out I’m terribly undernourished thanks to two digestive mis-diagnoses. My specialist JUST said I should start drinking more (fresh, homemade) juice for added nutrients that I’ve been missing. Financially it isn’t in the cards, but this would be a godsend!!!

    I would LOVE to have a juicer. I’ve been making green smoothies and such for a while, but juicing allows you to use the tougher veggies and fruits that won’t work in a blender. Either way, the energy level from having a healthy dose of fruits and veggies every day is fantastic!

    Why do I enjoy juicing?
    It tastes good, getting more vitamins than ever before, creative outlet and its fun to shop for deals on seasonal produce to juice, never had a reason to buy fennel before, cant get enough pomegranate since we started, good reason to have beets every day, good reason to get the taste of ginger everyday, and all the pulp can be used to make crackers or “granola” so nothing goes to waste!

    We have an old tangerine tree that I have been juicing with the old glass strainer. It takes me a long time to do this. After a half an hour or so, I get about 2 cups of juice. Using a juicer would save me some time in the morning so I would be able to spend more time with my family before heading off to work. With our 5% pay cut and medical increases I am barely getting by. This would be a luxury for our household and I know we would all benefit from it.

    I am so excited to get started Juicing! I just watched “Fat, Sick, and almost dead.” As well as the documentary “Hungry for changed” and am so intrigued by the juicing process. Since October I’ve been doing a diet plan and already dropped 18.5 lbs., however I want to move away from processed foods. Did you know that store bought juice only has about 10% of its original nutrients after processing? This juicer in particular is one that I really need because it is a slow juicer, doesn’t heat the juice as it pulps it, therefore giving it a 72 hour shelf-life vs. having to drink it right away.

    Would love to have it! And I LOVE WS!!!!
