The one recipe that I always use and never write it down as I constantly open up the page in the cookbook is her Apple Crisp. I stopped measuring the liquid like orange/lemon juice and just eyeball it. I also love her Lemon Loaf recipe as well.
It’s hard to pick just one, but I’d have to go with her Orange Chocolate Chunk Cake. Yum!

Fourteen years ago a friend made Ina’s french potato salad from “the barefoot contessa cookbook”, and I have been in love with Ina and that recipe ever since. I always get rave reviews, and I’ve served it at graduation receptions and many summer picnics. Add this to her grilled tuna nicoise platter and I am in heaven. My mom loves the nicoise platter with the potato salad so much that I make it every year for Mother’s Day for her.
I love her Mustard Roasted Fish recipe. It’s so easy to make and is a hit with the whole family.
