Several years ago there was a dip recipe that was pumpkin butter and I think Dijon mustard. There may have been a third ingredient but I don’t think so. I can’t find the recipe in the archives, and it was really good. Anyone remember the recipe?
I heard about a recipe with cream cheese, bacon and scalljons.
APPETIZER DIP
8 oz cream cheese (regular or low fat)
6 Tbsp Muirhead Pecan Pumpkin Butter
2 Tbsp bacon pieces
2 scallions, finely chopped
Beat cream cheese with Muirhead Pecan Pumpkin Butter until smooth and creamy. At this point, either beat the bacon pieces and scallions into the cream cheese mixture or scrape the cream cheese mixture into a serving bowl and garnish the surface with the bacon pieces and scallions. Refrigerate or serve immediately with crackers. Serves 12.
I add chopped glazed pecans as part of the garnish.
That sounds good, but I don’t think that’s the recipe I was looking for.
