Happy May 4th! Also known as May the Fourth and the nerdiest day of the entire year. (Yes, even counting Pie Day on March 14th.) See, the date sounds a lot like “may the force,” which is commonly said in Star Wars movies. But we’re guessing you already knew that … or else you wouldn’t have clicked on this story. Right? Okay, so let’s get right to it.
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away …
Actually, no. A few days ago on Instagram, we spotted some of our coolest Star Wars merchandise. Take a look and then do some shopping to get yourself suited up.
1. R2-D2 Popcorn Maker, $100
The Culinary Director-at-Large for Food & Wine dubbed our R2-D2 popcorn maker the coolest one in all the galaxies. He is not wrong.
2. Williams Sonoma Star Wars Cookie Cutter Set, $30 for eight-piece set
Who knew pie could be so nerdy and so pretty at the same time!? This gorgeous pie crust was made with our cookie cutters, proving they’re good for more than just cookie dough. Marie just used the cutters featuring faces, but full set also includes the Millennium Falcon and the Death Star.
3. Williams Sonoma Star Wars 8-Piece Cookie Cutter Set, $30
Here, you can see the rest of the shapes and how well the cutters work on cookie dough. This Instagrammer made these cookies for one lucky six-year-old, however we have proof that kids (and adults) of all ages will enjoy them.
4. Star Wars Pop Mold, $25 for six
We’re not experts in Jedi law, but we’re pretty sure these ice pops would beat lightsabers in a fight. Our silicone set features molds in the shape of a Stormtrooper, R2-D2, and Darth Vader (you get two of each). And it lets you turn any sort of fresh juice (or fruit puree or yogurt) into a healthy, cool summertime treat.
5. Williams Sonoma Star Wars Pancake Molds, $20 for four
Like our cookie molds, these pancake molds turn batter into classic Star Wars characters (Darth Vader, a Stormtrooper, R2-D2, and Yoda). Enjoy breakfast, you will!
6.Star Wars Spatulas, $28 for three
Jenn Fujikawa knows how to arm herself for some serious baking. Makes sense, considering she’s a writer for StarWars.com, Marvel.com, and more. Our Darth Vader spatula comes with two mini spatulas (featuring Yoda and R2-D2), so you can even use them as makeshift puppets to act out some iconic scenes while you wait for your brownies to cool.
