Juice makes you good and healthy.
Wash is, cut it up, and store it in a zip lock bag in the refrigerator. Then when you want a quick snack, it won’t seem so tiresome to make.best small juicer
Thank you very much for these juicing tips. I recently bought a juicer so I needed some of the juicing tips and juice recipe. I want to start the juice cleanse really soon. So I bought a centrifugal juicer from https://juicermoz.com/best-centrifugal-juicer/ First I read the review then decided myself which juicer to buy.

I never juiced but this would enhance my body greatly.
Good juicing tip, beets and spinach are great for energy, and are very useful in pre-workout and post-workout juices. Also carrots are great in any vegetable and fruit juice due to their light flavor. Happy juicing!! 🙂 I’ve done the 5-day reboot juicing detox and feel wonderful!! Highly recommend!!! Would love a Breville Juicer to help me on the road to a longer juice detox!
Get a Breville Juicer! I have never owned a juicer, but I do own a Breville Pizza Oven and it rocks!!!!!
One of my best juicing tips is after you finish juicing your favorite drink. Re-add the pulp back into the juicer to yield a higher juice! It works for me and If you’re like me you always want to get the best bang for your buck!
Also, we must always remember you have to eat the very veggies and fruits that we’re eating.Eating a few pieces of your favorite greens and other colorful veggies and fruits will strengthen your overall juicing and give you a healthier lifestyle all together!!
Good luck to everyone looking to elevate their health!
I want to try juicing. I want to LIVE too! I would LOVE a Breville Duo! How exciting would that be?!
I’m on a LFRV diet because my health is not good. I’m overweight. I am loving this diet but would really love a juicer. Currently I make and all fruit smoothie in the morning which is good but you just can’t add vegetables to that without having a weird texture (chunky).
Beetroot and orange good for High blood pressure It as helped me alot
This juicer looks great! I’d love to win it! 🙂
[…] Win a Juicer: Breville Juice Fountain Duo! […]
I don’t yet have a juicer, but a tip from a friend with one is the healthy juices that can be made and tasty, too! I have been window shopping at Williams-Sonoma for one though and would love to win one in preparation for retirement this year!
I love apples in my juice
ginger….yum!
Drink right away, without preservatives they don’t last long
juice makes you look good and feel good!
Add a food you hate (like carrots for me) to almost any juice!
The juice is loose!
combine fruits with vegetables, sweet with lots of vitamins
My tip: Add spinach and romaine lettuce to your juices and smoothies to make a delicious and healthy green juice that doesn’t take away from the flavors of fruit you might add to your juice!
Just started getting into juicing. love to have one at home.
Love juicing! My tip is drink more juice!
love the green stuff!
My favorite juicing tip is PEELING my citrus before juicing! It is advertised that you can just juice it with the peel on, but removing it REALLY enhances the sweetness of the fruit! Oooooh I hope I win the drawing! 🙂
Don’t use too much garlic ! Also, the pulp makes great worm food !
This would be our first juicer…so I have no first hand tips. I do know that we love the carrot – apple-celery juice with ginger at our local farmer’s market in the summer, so we would have great fun with our own juicer all year round! And the pulp could be added to our fresh yogurt. Win – win. Yay!
Juicing is a way for the body to easily take in all the nutrients in the juice. I have a 26 year old juicer and has seen better years and is extremely difficult to clean-Oh my goodness I hope I win your Breville juicer it looks beautiful. Juice with love!
I do not have a juicer yet but from what I have read, keeping the skins on the vegetables will make the juice more nutritious. I’d just love to win this!
Save glass jars to store the juice!
When working with large quantities of fruits and vegetables, be sure to stop unit to empty pulp bin as it begins to fill. The cutter/strainer should also be cleaned, as the extraction will decrease considerably and you wont get as much juice.
Add a lemon, unpeeled. Save the peel for zest!
Buy farm fresh vegetables when possible. Buy local!
My tip would be to juice the fruits/vegetables you crave. Forget recipes, go with what tastes good and your tastes will change for the better. Case in point: kale.
If you make carrot juice, save the pulp as it is perfect for carrot cake.
Our daughter loves her juicer. We both like the idea of owning one so we would love to win this offer.
Drink w/i 20 minutes of juicing for max benefits!
Using crushed ice and lots of refreshing fruits for these hot and humid spring days here in Florida1 🙂

Using crushed ice and lots of refreshing fruits for these hot and humid spring days here in Florida! 🙂
Wow! Winning a new juicer would be awesome! My favorite tip is to prep fruits and veggies in advance. Also, don’t be afraid to throw anything in them. Sometimes the weirder the combination sounds the better!
I don’t have any tips, because I don’t have a juicer! I would love to make juice with lots of green veggies!
Remove skins from fruits & veggies listed on the dirty dozen
I love the green stuff!
If you have a sweet tooth, add fruit to your vegetable juice (50-50) then gradually start cutting back on the fruits as your taste buds adjust. Before long you’ll be drinking straight veggies.
We use ours daily and it’s time for a new one to get more juice per each fruit/veggie.
Juicing is the bomb!
My best juicing tip is this – Just juice it! My family probably spent hundreds of dollars a year buying packaged OJ and apple juices – from produce that’s traveled hundreds of miles and been stored for months before we even poured our first glassful.
We’re tired of the sippy boxes and bags for the kids that even after careful label reading still leave us feeling like we’re being shortchanged. I have been on the fence about juicing for a while, but this is the year act on behalf of my family’s health.
I actually just bought the Breville Juice Fountain Plus (on sale, yay!)…winning the Duo I will allow me to share the benefits of juicing with my parents. They have a large mango tree on their property – they can supply me with fresh mangoes after I give them the Breville I bought when I win this one!
The key to getting benefits from juicing is to do it every day. Make it a part of your morning routine. Make it easy by planning for a week ahead and shopping so it is all available to you.
Any combination with fresh fruit, greens and ice is a great way to start the day.
Buy organic fruit when in season and freeze to use later on in winter. This will save you a lot of money! And it is better for you than buying fruit from S. America in the middle of winter.
Start your day with a cup of warm water and a lemon wedge. The next thing in your body should be a yummy glass of green juice. Kale, carrots, cucumber, mint, green apple, lemon and ginger. Your digestive track will thank you!
I am new to juicing and have been doing it manually. A juicer would be great.
I used a juicer before years ago, I hear the new ones are easier to clean so I might go back to it.
My son is trying to loose weight and I’d love to improve my diet-would love to have this juicer!!
My best juicing tip is to juice most vegetables while at room temperature so that you can maintain as much of the nutrition of the vegetables as possible. I also highly recommend adding at least some of the pulp back into the juice as the pulp offers a lot of nutritious value as well as prevents waste.
Sometimes simple works best when I’m in a hurry. I enjoy carrots with half an apple, for a quick colorful tasteful boost.
there are so many benefits to having a juicer. the easy way to get vitamins, to introduce healthy beverages into our children’s diet. To aid in weight management and i would love to have one.
Looking to start juicing, my doctor really recommended it since I have such a history of diabetes in the family!
The only way to juice is with the Breville juicer…my friends tell me this! That’s why I’m trying to win one! The one (or several) I have had I gave away…so bad! Miserable to clean! Also, big waste left that should of gone into the juice! I am hoping to win this one; I have many tips on juicing from friends. Have 2 good books also; I want to feel good and loose weight with this wonderful juicer I have heard so much about!
My tip? Pick a good quality juicer that is well made, is easy to clean and will last, then, experiment with your choices of fruits & vegetables!
I just completed the first 7 days of the 21 day Daniel Diet. I know someone that juiced as a part of the diet and want to try it. I’ve done some research about juicing but I don’t own a juicer. I’ve heard to line the basket part of the juicer with a bag to make cleanup easier! Wash vegetables thoroughly! Drink more greens!!!
A nice morning start a healthy morning start with a juicer, thanks for giving me the chance to wine one.
Will be great to have one for a healthy morning start,a crative start to,thanks for giving me the chance to win one.
My best tip is to chop everything up first, then juice it all. My second best tip is to clean your juicer right after you’re done! Makes cleaning a lot easier.

Leave the skins on when juicing vegetables!
When adding a new or different veggie/fruit to a basic recipe you like, only add one ingredient for that juice so you can evaluate the taste difference better with the added ingredient.
Love juicing blackberries to make syrup and jelly.
For the best fruit smoothies, I juice the hard fruits first (apply, pear, etc) and then blend in the Vitamix with softer fruits (like bananas) that don’t do as well in the juicer. I’ve also blended fresh veggie juice with spinach and some ice cubes in the blender.
lots of little changes in store! some on advice from my doctor, some just kind of showed up! would love to add a noew ‘toy’ to aid quest for a healthy ‘cronehood’!
Always start with any leafy greens if they are firm and able to be fed alone. Or bundle leafy greens inside of four celery stalks.
Be sure to drink lots of water while juicing. Start the day off with lemon juice and warm water. If you get hungry while juicing, eating an avocado helps soothe the belly and does not hurt the juice fast.
Juicing doesn’t have to be limited to only fruits and veggies… You can juice nuts to make nut milk!
I would love a juicer!
Starting new healthy living endeavors this year. I have never juiced and would like to start something new & creative. Lean in 2013.
ginger in juice makes the difference!
Re-use the pulp in baking, especially casseroles. Also, be sure to core apples and pears first as their seeds are unhealthy
The best juicing tip I have is to make sure you clean your juicer right away so you don’t grow any gross stuff on the equipment. Also you can use the leftover pulp in compost that you can put it into your own vegetable garden. 🙂
Juice Tip: If you dont know ask your grocery professional – when it comes to picking out fruit and veggies to juice.
Save time by keeping the skins on and even juicing the core – Think of all those nutrients and other goodies that can add to the quantity of your juice.
AND the pulp makes a great rejuvenating face mask! PERFECT! 🙂

Me and my husband have joined a gym this year, started eating healthier meals, and would love to juice. Right now I use a blender, blending spinach, pinapple, blueberries, & 1/2 a banana for a quick energizer drink before heading off to the gym. We’ve been married 38 years this year and want to make it another 38 years. P.s. I absolutely LOVE William Sonoma for all my kitchen needs and just recently purchased the AllClad pots & pans set for my daughter’s christmas present… she is in love now also!
Always include one veggie with your fruit juices to add a kick of vitamins, not to mention an extra serving.
would love to start juicing
Save your juicing pulp for adding flavor to broths and stocks. Juice is also a great substitution for stock in recipes to add unexpected flavor

While it’s tough to justify the purchase of a juicer as a necessity, it’s easy enough to rationalize because of the dietary and health benefits, plus the simple enjoyment of fresh juices.
My best juicing tip is to always use spinach in your juices. It doesnt make the drink taste much different but it adds a great health benefit.
My tip is to do a bunch of juicing at the beginning of the week, that way the juices are already done and your can just grab and go! Really helpful when running late!

Win a great juicer.
I will treat myself with an all fruit juice. They are so delicious and keep my interest for my green juice.
I always juice my kale first. The other harder vegetables seems to push the kale through and extract more juice.
I love making smoothies for my three little angels for breakfast. They are quick, easy and nutritious, which is a treat for me as well as my kids. Usually I add pineapple or orange juice so the way to improve on the nutrition would be to do my own juicing. Also, making it more affordable for us to enjoy smoothies anytime. Breville is top of the line, it would be fabulous to own the Juice Fountain Duo.
Love to mix up lots of fruits for a refreshing drink that is good for you..Need this one..its alot better than i have!!

I usually leave the skins on everything, but be sure to peel any citrus fruits; If you leave them on, you will have a bitter taste in your juice.
I have been wanting a juicer for a long time, but kept putting other purchases ahead of it, like the wonderful yogurt maker that I purchased from WS a few years ago. With this juicer I can make healthy smoothies using my own homemade yogurt and juices 🙂
My tip – when adding additional ingredients, such as flax seed or steel cut oats, grind them in a coffee grinder before adding to the juicer.

I am new to juicing…so I need a juicer and some guidance! :). I am hoping juicing will expand my kids’ juice and veggie in take.
I want this! I need to get more veg. and fruit in my diet!
My best juicing tip is incorporate greens, add things like ginger, apples, celery, cucumbers and always buy organic. You dont want to drink a glass of pesticides! Thats worse than not juicing at all.

I wanna start juicing everything in sight!! Pick me111
I grow my own wheatgrass to juice so I would have to say to make sure your leafy greens are set on the right option or else the machine will just eat them up and you’ll get very little juice. Things to try to juice would be carrots, raw beets, ginger, and of course the wheatgrass.
When you don’t like the taste add some sweet fruit or ginger!
My best juicing tips would be to juice first this in the morning before you’ve eaten anything else. To chop the vegetables so they aren’t too big and to do it as often as you possibly can because its the best thing for you!

Cactus, parsley, celery, orange juice & pineapple. Great for dieting and lowering your cholesterol.
Have fun with juicing! Mix and match! Try different vegetables with different fruits. Experiment and try new combinations to keep eating healthy interesting!
Thank you! I would love a juicer!!! :))
My personal juicing tip is to limit mixing fruits together with vegetables — with the exception of mild fruits like apples and pears — to avoid stomach upset. I have found that (at least for me), fruits do not easily digest when mixed with vegetables (or with proteins and starches for that matter); they are best consumed on their own.
Really need a juicer…
I want this juicer!
Two ingredients to add to any juice to make it the most yummy smoothie or juice – ICE and/or peanut butter. Added tip, clean your juicer immediately. Happy juicing!

As a long time juicer, this IS the creme de la creme! I would LOVE it!
I love adding apples to sweeten the drink naturally.
So looking forward to getting a juicer…the best tip I know has already been posted a few times; store your juice in a glass container. I have also heard that you should drink your juice as soon as possible because some of the nurtients may diminish if it sits for too long.
Would love to learn to juice vegges and fruit!

Freeze fruits & veggies before juicing them ., that way you’ll never have to add ice and dilute the flavor

I’d love to juice veggies…so Pleasssssse pick me!!!
I would love to have this Juicer…
When I want an all-green juice but also need a little sweetness, adding a little apple and some lemon juice makes it taste like a green lemonade!
Best juicing tip? Save the carrot pulp and use it in muffins. Planning on doing this if I win the juicer! Don’t like to waste anything.
I just bought my first juicer on Jan 11, 2013. My boyfriend was recently diagnosed with cancer and I’ve changed everything in our diet regarding the way we eat and drink. Everything I buy now is 100% Organic and we juice everyday. I love juicing and I’m addicted to it in just a short time. So far my new Samson9005 works well, but I sure wish I could have afforded this Breville !!! It’s priced way to high for my budget. I like the fact that you can put whole fruit in there without cutting it up first. Dang I want one of these badly !!! Goodluck every one and happy juicing.
I don’t have a juicer but my friend adds apple and lemon to organic greens. It tastes good.
Same here (no experience with juicing), but I am willing to get advice.
i love juicing,i had one of the old pricey big ones,it was nice but work.ive dreamed of the new sleek efficient one’s.i’m over weight now and need to get in shape ,and back into the sports and activities i love.this could be my savior.

This juicer would be a great way to get some veggies into my kids!!!
My teenage son has brain cancer. We juice and eat organic now. It really helps with the treatment.
let your kids help make juice.. they love to make their own custom blend.. and then they can sample their creation! If your juicer vibrated and ‘travels’ around the table, put a dish towel down first.. it will stop the traveling.
I do not have a tip, but I really appreciate the ones that have been left so far. When I start juicing, they will come in quite handy. Thanks!
Interesting way to get my greens:)
My main tip is to buy a quality juicer. Secondly, I’d recommend alternating greens with apples/carrots and the like for best results. If you don’t have plans for the pulp, how about sharing with your dog? They will love it!
Be brave and try some kale!
Best tip? Win a juicer!!!!!
This would be so cool to win and would add to my growing list of awesome kitchen items from Williams Sonoma! 🙂
Tip: I get frustrated sometimes trying to get baby spinach, mint leaves, fresh parsley, etc. down the chute on their own, so I started making “kale sandwiches” or “romaine sandwiches”. Taking a leafy green, I fill the centers with the smaller greens, roll it up, and feed that through the chute. It works like a charm!
Cut the butter or oil in sweet bread recipes, by using the juice pulp. Adds moisture & sweetness &’nutrients in a yummy way!
Best juicing tip I have is to add apple to veggie drinks to add some sweetness. A lot of fruits and veggies do not go together, but apple most always goes with veggies.
I need a better juicer!
I have the Breville Keurig, the Breville Blender and would love to complete my collection with The Breville Juicer. I would love to start enjoying the healthy beauty of juicing.
the tip i would have is to use all sorts of fruits and different leafy greens to enhance the health benefits everyone looks for while using a juicer….. i would love to have one to take advantage of the health benefits and also to play around with what is given to us by farmers and mother earth
Don’t be afraid to try new things
I am trying to lose 50 pounds and this juicer would certainly make my weight loss much healthier.
Mango pulp
1 cup nonfat yogurt
Pinch of saffron
Pinch of cardomom powder
1/2 cup milk
Mix altogether and have refreshing smoothie
Any fruit juices are the fountain of youth
I love juicing I like to add lemon and and apples to everything for a great taste
I so want to start juicing for health reasons. A friend has reaped so many benefits from juicing. And I have read many excellent reviews about the Breville model!
I think juicing rocks, for health, nutrition, and healing. Nothing like a Breville juicer, it is easy to use, easy to clean, and an awesome machine — a necessary item in every kitchen ! I want this duo — for juicing and for making smoothies, for the convenience and the quality name.
“Pulsing” often gets the ingredients processed much more consistently!
OH how I’d love to be motivated to start juicing!!
Doing my first juice fast and I would love to own the ultimate juicer.
I have seen this juicer in action. I really want to join the juicing movement.
Ooh!! Like Jamba Juice in my house!!
Juice it up for your health!!
We haven’t had a juicer in years but have thought about getting one again. We have been trying to cut out unprocessed foods as much as possible.
fruits, greens and lots of love…
This juicer looks amazing!!
Juicer, Juicer! Juicing will help me “eat” my veggies!
I would love to have a juicer. My friend uses her’s everday.
Have all vegetables or fruits in the refrigerator to get cold before juicing.
Haven’t had a juicer in years but have thought about getting one again since we have been getting really interested in eating more and more unprocessed foods.
Add some fresh lemon to “brighten” your flavors up!
I would love to begin juicing with a juicer I know would be excellent. So many health benefits.
If you are looking for the sweetness instead of any bland tastes I go for the citrus element in my drinks.
Kinda PlainJane but Apple Carrot Juice never gets old.
This loyal Williams-Sonoma customer would love to win a Breville juicer!
Please I would love carrot and beet juice drink! My favorite!
Add apples to temper the greens! Juicing can heal so many things from the inside, out in a healthy way!
I’d love to win a juicer and be able to add more nutrients to my diet.
Never tried a juicer, but I’d love to!
Well, I just pressed comment and my witty, refreshing and creative comment went…poof. Here I go again…;)
Hello, WS is my altimeter favorite store! My kitchen is full of wonderful WS products that I’ve collected from sales over many years. It’s so much fun to find a fine WS item at a deal! A bedeviled Juicer for free would be the conversation piece to top them all! Good luck to me 🙂
Your Devoted,
Savvy Shopper
Pick me…I’m dying to try juicing.
Save the pulp for vegetable soup!
Searching for the best juicer , would love to try this one!
Juicing tip: Try to use as many colors of fruits/veggies as you can to add variety.
Make sure your fruits and veggies are at room temperature! They will release more juice AND be much more flavourful!
This would be the best juicer ever if it were in my kitchen!
Love the taste of ginger in the receipes.
I love Willams- Sonoma Everything! I would love this Juicer!
My tip is not to get stuck in a rut, try new veggies and you might find something you love. I found I love beet juice and adding ginger to my juices. Also I always add cucumber it softens the taste of whatever you are juicing.
Fresh fruit veggies juiced are the best!!!
ginger and lime make an excellent fresh juice. 2 to 1 lime over ginger
I don’t have a juicer, but I’ve wanted to start juicing, and winning this juicer would be a great start!
Deb
would love to win a juicer and see if i like juicing better than smoothies…
Can’t wait to get a juicer!!
I would LOVE a juicer!
I don’t have any juicing tips because I’ve never had a juicer! Would LOVE to start juicing for my whole family. They already love smoothies, which we toss all left over fruit into in the mornings.
Add a little ginger 🙂
I want one!!
We would love this great juicer to help keep our family healthy in 2013!
Juicer. Yum so healthy!
Juicing is a great way to get those fruits & veggies in a yummy way.
Add flaxseed meal to any juice for added fiber and omega-3s.
My Egyptian friends just told me about their family cold remedy but I need a juicer!
Love to leave a brilliant tip but ive never owned a juicer! Always wanted one though.
Would love to learn how to use more veggies in juicing
I would love to have a juicer!!!! Have locked at them every time I to in the store. Never have the cash to buy!! My doctor says we need more fruits and veggies —- what a perfect way to be so much more healthy!!!!! Keeping my fingers crossed!!!!!
Try and be adventurous in the fruits/veges you juice. You never know when you’ll across a new favorite mix
No tip for juicing but for easy clean up, perhaps you put a plastic bag on the pulp collector before juicing.
Nut milks are a great alternative, like almond milk. Soaked overnight, you can put them in your juicer, and make your own! You can make fresh almond milk horchata… delish! And you can use the pulp for baking recipes or as a spread. Very little waste!
When you drink your vegetable juice, the juice should be at room temperature. This means you should take your vegetables out of the fridge and place on the counter for a few hours before juicing. Ideally and if you can, leave your vegetables out overnight to ensure they are at room temperature. Cold food shuts down the digestive system and this would then defeat the purpose of juicing.
A juicer would be so nice to have and join the juicing craze !
Hello everyone,
This is the best tip that I know to give. When you start juicing and feeding your body with more fruits and vegetables than you ever have before make sure to use only 100% organic, pesticide free, non-gmo produce. It’s a shame when people start juicing and their bodies still aren’t receiving the full potential of what true organic foods can give them.
I just started juicing have been using a blender but would really love this juicer!! One of my favorites- Green tea-avocado-spinach and green grape smoothie YUMMY!!! Talk about an energy boost before doing morning yoga 🙂
I haven’t invested in a juicer yet so I don’t have any tips, but this would be an awesome win!
Juice your greens at the same time as a piece of apple or celery for better yield from the greens!
Add lemon juice to any mixture and it will enhance the flavors greatly.
My best juicing tip is to make sure you mix up the dense food with the watery food so it goes through completely. For example, sometimes I roll my leafy greens up AROUND a piece of celery or cucumber. Or I cut a divet in my apple and put the ginger in the divet so it goes through together. At the very least, I follow the dense food like leafy greens immediately with the watery food, such as apples, cukes, pears.
Juice, please! (-;
Juicers Rock!
I would love to win a juicer! I do not have one, and I have tried in my blender – its just not the same! I would say that if there was a tip that I could give it would be to make sure to drink the juice (be it veggie, fruits, or fruit and veggie) as soon as possible once you are done juicing. The more time that passes, the more it tends to loose nutritional value. Also, make sure (as with making smoothies too), you wash your fruits and veggies thoroughly. There are all sorts of pesticides and stuff that you dont want in your juice. Juices are the most available to the body – quick. So make sure that what you are delivering is fruit and veggies – not petroleum or other synthetic/non-synthetic pesticides etc. ~Bella
Just bought 20 lbs. Of honey bell tangelos to juice. I would love a juicer. Time to get healthy & live longer.
My tip for making vegatable rich drinks taste better by adding lots of fresh berries and fruit for added flavor and nutrition.
I don’t have a juicer either (yet) but here’s a tip I learned from a friend: Most people find that they can’t stomach eating a certain fruit or vegetable but they will happily drink it when the flavors are hidden in the other ingredients. Also, many parents are finding that they can get their children to drink juices that include beetroot and spinach without them even knowing it.
Bought my son one for Xmas. He loved it now I want one
Not really into juicing yet…if I win this I hope that will change! i can advise to save the scraps and use them to make stock.
Prepare everything the day before.
I start with the less juicy veggies first & end w/the more juicy ones which helps get more liquid out. Finally run some oj through
You can add carrots to any juice!
Definitely tastes better than Juicy Juice.
My tip for a great healthy and nutritional juice is to used organics fruits and vegetables and serve to drink right away. Not extra sugar need to be add. Enjoy it!.
I just use a plastic straw so tis would be a big improvement
Would make eating healthy so much easier!!,
I just use a plastic straw, this would surely be an improvement !
I have this juicer and love it! I really, really want to get one for my mom. She enjoys the fresh juice when she visits. I like to put a plastic grocery sack in the container that collects the pulp so the clean-up is a breeze.
I’ve wanted a juicer forever…
…My best tip, based on my own experience as a newbie juicer, is to EXPERIMENT, experiment, experiment until you have several fail-proof recipes that you adore and can easily and quickly pull together…and always, always, be sure to take advantage of edible skins on fruits and veggies (organic preferred) as there is a mountain of nutrition packed in the “natural packaging!”
My best tip is don’t force it. Let the juicer do its work rather than try to push the fruits through to make it faster.
my best juicing tip is to use Bananas and/or oranges to create a sweetness in whatever you want to juice. makes it delish always!
would love this juicer , to get a healthy start to a fitter lifestyle
great way to start off the new year by being healthier, what better way with the best juicer out there, Breville!
Juicing is great for kids! Excellent way to sneak their veggies in and they think the green color is so cool! If you mix spinach or kale with apples, bananas, carrots, or berries it’s so easy to hit the recommended daily servings.
Can’t wait to start juicing!!!!
I don’t own a juicer but I I would love to own one! So, my best juicing tip would be to start with a juicer. Pick me please!
1)Replace one drink (soda, coffee, etc) with a juice everyday!
2)Leafy greens are always good to add in! Apples are always good too.
3)Share the wealth!! Kids and all ages will find a juice they like! So have fun doing so!
I’ve heard great reviews about this juicer. This is a good investment for your family’s health. Thanks for the give-away 🙂
Fresh vegetable juice is the best!
Go juice!
don’t waste the valuable fiber
Looks awesome
What a great way to promote healthy eating! Hope I win!
I have not ever juiced but would love to so I do not as yet have any tip.
juice herbs too
I freeze surplus juice and use to make slushies.
I would love a juicer also.
I put spinach in every juice, kids cant tell! Love it!! We love juicing, but ours recently broke. Would love a new one to get back in the game!
Making fresh juice would help our quest to raise happy, healthy kids!
Do not throw pulp away. Toss it into any baked good recipe. How about throwing some carrot pulp into a pound cake recipe? Pancakes work well too(berries and apples are good for pancakes). It adds some moisture, flavor and a nice texture.
When fruit and veggies are over ripe, we toss them in the juicer. Yippee, less waste & a delightful treat!
I compost the pulp for my garden.
Oh, I’ so love a juicer! Use my blender but a real juicer would be so nice!
Would love one these to help with the New Years resolution!
You can’t beat a ginger and lime combination.
It’s flu season! You think meds are going to cure that hacking cough? In my experience: not even.
The most effective way to simmer down now your Phlegm, Rising, is by juicing it.
Apple Lemon Ginger
1/4 of a lemon
1 Red Delicious Apple
About half-an-inch of ginger
Just core the apple, shred it in your Breville, and
Zing.
You’ve got a zesty, fiery elixir in your hands to sting that throat bacteria dead, and help you kick your cough.
Health and Joyeux,
Audrey
I would love to make some nutritious drinks for my family with a juicer!
Win win win!
Believe it or not, but three apples and one lemon make the absolute best lemonade!!
I don’t have a tip as I still have not tried juicing yet. I keep thinking I should as it would make for some healthier breakfasts and drinks.
Add green tea to juice for extra antioxidants.
I love fresh juice!
My hubby would love this!
It is a must to wash your vegetables and fruit. I’ve found it works best if you cut your vegetables and fruit. you should always make sure your ingredients are the right size for the feed tube.
Always adding a lot of greens to my juice.
I love juicing and need a new one to go in my new condo!!! 🙂
Throw some eggshells into your juice for a nice calcium boost!
Great timing! I was just looking to get a juicer!!!
Use fresh from the gardenvegies
My tip is to wash your prodice very well and bag it, but don’t cut any fruits and/or veggies too far ahead of juicing (like the day or night before). You’ll lose too many of the nutrients if you leave cut fruit and veggies overnight, even in baggies. Also, adding the pulp to red sauce really ups the nutritional content and it virtually disappears into the sauce; no one will know!
Blueberries are great to use, loaded with antioxidants.
My juicer of 3 years recently died. My employer is laying me off. No work = no money to buy a new juicer. Pretty please??!! 🙂
Eat more vegetables!
Ginger, ginger and more ginger
Would really appreciate a juicer
Would love to have this!
What a great way to start the healthy New Year out with a fine juicer.
It looks awesome, would love to win it, so I can juice to better health. Watched the movie Fat Sick and Dead. I enjoy juicing.
I don’t really have any juicing tips….but I’d love to win this juicer so I can come up with some! I’ve heard so many great things about this nifty gadget would like to someday own one!
I love to follow Kris Carr, Crazy Sexy Juices, she has great ideas.
I’d really love to win this juicer! Been using my blender and its just not the same!
Start slow with green vegetables, add a fruit you enjoy, ginger is always a great way to kick a bug!
I love Williams and Sonoma!
I’d love the juicer!!
I’d made a green monster drink
Have been looking into purchasing a juicer to support a healthy 2013 – all these tips are a fantastic starting point!
after juicing your greens juice a cucumber and it will rinse the juicer bowl so it is clear
I’ve been wanting a juicer for a long time!
The only fruit that I juiced is orange, I do not have experience with electric juicer so I have no tip, but it would be nice if I win one!!! That would be a motivation to start healthy diet instead of store bought juice.
I don’t have any tips- need a juicer first!
Don’t be afraid to try new ingredients when juicing! You never know when you might come up with the next best creation!
It would be amazing to win this juicer! I would love to make fresh juices at home everyday.
I want this, thank you!
Perfect timing! Been seriously looking into juicers. Winning this would help my family on the road to being healthier. Crossing my fingers…
Freeze pomogrnate seeds then thaw and juice them. Gives so much more juice!
Best way to start a day is with fresh juice! I just started “juicing” with my blender, so very limited with my options. I promise to be a daring and regular juicer if I win the Breville Juice Fountain Duo and share my juices with all my friends so they go and buy their own at Williams-Sonoma 🙂
Have all your fruits and vegetables washed and ready.
Juice is the perfect food to alkalize your gut. If you stay clear of high sugar fruits and vegetables (like beets and carrots) you can create the perfect alkaline snack or meal. Most Americans eat SAD (standard american diet) that is full of processed foods, sugar, gluten and grains. Juicing is the perfect way to reverse that trend!
Love most of the fruit juice!!!love to have a juicer…
I would love to have a juicer!
I have been eager to start juicing and have been recently looking at reviews to see which juicer was the best.. So I would love to have the opportunity to give this Breville Juicer a try. I have in the last 5 years cut out most processed foods and have really been trying to eat all natural. This would just add to that next step.
I would love to win a juicer. I’ve wanted one for quite a while now. Pick me.. Pick me!!!:)
Carrot- apple- ginger is my favorite juiced beverage. The best tip is to use a large chunk of ginger. It packs some heat and has some great health benefits! Drink up!
Also, drying grape pulp spread into a dehydrator after juicing makes a great alternative to greasy potato chips!
This juicer is a great way to have my son take more fruits and veggies.
Funny story. I made this juice and my pee turned pink and my poo turned dark maroon.
Day 7: Beet-Orange Juice
2 navel oranges
3 red beets
*Adapted from Juicy Drinks, by Valerie Aikman-Smith.
I would love a juicer so i can use up all the produce i get from my CSA. My friend made Kale, apple and beet juice for me once and it was so yummy. I can’t wait to make my own!
I want to get my family started on juicing as soon as possible!!
Put baby spinach leaves in everything. Also, save time in the morning and premake baggies of your ingredients. Just wake up and dump it in and juice away.
My sons would love for us to have this! Great way to get more nutrients into their bodies!
Hmm… best juicing tip. Well, after you are done with your delicious juice, you can always use the “pulp” for compost!
My best tip is when you are done juicing take the pulp and re run it through the juicer because there is still more juice in the pulp, I do it 2-3x to make sure I get every ounce of juice available
I don’t really have any tips, because I’ve never juiced before:)
I have heard such amazing things about this juicer! I have tons of recipes I want to try!!! I want to get healthy with my family:)
Always use fresh produce if you can, you can taste the difference.
A little ginger goes a long, long way!
First of all, I have never won anything in my life and this would be so great if I did win this. I have wanted to start juicing but the juicers are a bit expensive, so this would come in handy. I would think the best juicing tips would be to have your fruits and veggies cold and leave the skins on. Good luck to everyone!
I am a person working in collaboration with two other groups as we move forward in an effort to change the health of all Americans. This would be great to use and talk about with the millions we are currently working with inside the health insurance community. Thanks for this opportunity.
Try not to blend bricks – you won’t get much juice out of them.
Try to use local, organic produce in your juicer for the healthiest snack available! It’s great for your body, and wonderful for your community and local businesses. Win, win, win!
I’ve never juiced, but I am eating healthier and exercising more and I hope to add juicing to the mix. I just need the juicer! 🙂
I want fresh healthy juice!
One of my favorite recipes:
Use a French cucumber & a stalk of celery in the juicer and season with sea salt, a dash of Worcestershire sauce, fresh ground black pepper and a pinch of cayenne. Enjoy
Put a little bit of banana in your juice mix and blend it like a milk-shake.
Apples and carrots are great together. Vegs are a great way to start your soup base. Would love one of these nice juiicers.
Would love one!
Rough chop your fruit and veggies for the week. Place them out into containers or baggies (each bag containing enough for 1-2 servings). Now all you have to do is grab a bag/container and juice!!!!
Add a sliver of ginger for a little zing and a good source of potassium and magnesium.
Would like to try juicing and living healthlier. Everyone that has a juicer says they are wonderful. I hope I can win this one as my budget doesn’t allow me to buy one right now.
When juicing oranges and such I like to sometimes scoop some of the pulp back into the juice. Very nutritious!
If you juice greens, like kale, always add some lemon. Brightens and lightens the flavor.
When I had a juicer before I liked to add spices WHILE juicing to add extra health benefits. Turmeric is great as an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, cayenne for vitamin A, garlic for detox, ginger for your GI tract, black pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, all add great flavor whether to veggie or fruit or combo juices. TONS of spices out there to try 🙂
A juicer is a excellent item for a culinarian to have.
An entry comment for freestuffs!
I love the 5 speeds! Wow!
been wanting to buy a vitamix, would much rather win this Breville Juice Fountain Duo!
My best juicing tip is to make sure you use organic pesticide free fruits and vegetables.
Since I hate cleaning them so much – the best tip is to put a plastic bag in the pulp container for easier cleanup.
I’m a newbie to juicing. Been getting hints at the January technique classes at my local Williams & Sonoma store. The employees are soooo helpful!
The more fruits and veggies the merrier!
I would be so juiced up if I won this wonderful Breville Juice fountain Duo. A wonderful way to help me lose weight and enrich my body with plenty of vitamins and nutrients so my tip is use it daily.
Add kale!
I would love to win this! don’t shy away from any fruit or veggie. just because you may not like them whole once mixed with other fruits they taste totally different!
I would love a juicer to help with my healthier lifestyle. I am sure I would be given lots of great drink options with this juicer.
I so want one of these!
Have wanted a juicer for quite some time – a blender just doesn’t get the job done!
I love my Breville tea brewers (so much that I have one at home and one at work). I’d love to try the Breville juicer!
I don’t own a juicer but feel I now need one. I am a breast cancer survivor and just finished the last of my cancer treatment 3 months ago. So now I need to heal my body from the chemo and radiation damage. I bought a book on juicing and after reading about the benefits I need to incorporate this into my diet. Now I need a machine.
I would really like to try juicing!
My 12-year-old (picky eater) continues to ask for this juicer, EVERYDAY!
After I make carrot juice, I can use the fine carrot shreds for carrot cake. It makes for a lighter cake and I don’t have to grate the carrots by hand!
Best Juicing tip: Just start juicing!
You will be so amazed at how yummy and how easy your creations can be. Get your veggies fast – don’t worry about cooking your beets and skinning them – juice ’em whole add what you will.
I have serious juicer envy, my sister juices everything. She and her family enjoy some very healthy combos and are all radiantly healthy.
Wash the fruit and veggies thoroughly and include the skins when juicing. The essential oils bring the taste of your fresh juice to another level.
I have always wanted a juicer. I’m hoping it would get my kids to eat more veggies too!
Oops! and if I juiced every day, perhaps I would be a better speller, that was supposed to be “counter” not “calendar!”
I would Love to own this juicer!
My best juicing tip is to ease into it! Although some people can go from not juicing to doing a juice cleanse, you can see results by just replacing one or two meals a day with juicing. …everything in moderation!!
No tips to share yet… I am retiring next month and will finally have time to start juicing for breakfast. A juicer would come in very handy as I begin the next adventure in life…
The best tip I have, and it is so simple, is to be sure to have your juicer out on your calendar every day, otherwise, you will tend not to use it as often. I would love to own the Breville Juice Fountain Duo, that way you get the best of both worlds, slow speeds for softer fruits and leafy greens, and faster speeds for hard veggies and fruits. Breville rocks!!!
Juicers are amazing!!!
Add apples to whatever juice I’m making, it’s good at masking the more savory notes like celery
Leave the peels on all fruits and vegetables but clean them very well before juicing!
Cucumber, Spinach, Parsley, Apple, Lemon and Ginger = amazingly juice you’ll ever have!
I want a juicer!
Breville is stylin’ and most useful!
My tip is to stay informed through Williams-Sonoma’s website, fb page and blog. There is so much to learn here! The last Williams-Sonoma catalog had such an intriguing cover photo of glasses filled with beautiful liquids that I had to find out what they were. I was surprised to learn that they were juices, and that the recipes for the 30 different types were on W-S fb page. I ordered the glasses and now am hoping to get a juicer so that I can start on my own 30 days of juicing. Thanks, Williams-Sonoma!
Would love on of these…instead of buying mine at Whole Foods.
My cousin-in-law received this juicer & she loves it. I would also like to get healthier & start juicing.
Would love to win!
Best tip… Hmmm. How about adding herbs to your juice?
I don’t have a juicer, but I would really love to win this one!! My tip would be to throw everything in – seeds, core, skin etc! And sweeten with honey instead of sugar! :))
I have never “juiced” before but have been looking at a lot of smoothie recipes and really want to try. The recipes look so yum and refreshing!
Starting this year, I’ve replaced a meal (breakfast or lunch) with a homemade juice!
Juice for life! Would love to have one for healthy eating!
Your recipes sound yummy!
If you are going to leave the skin on for juicing….make sure to soak and rinse in a baking soda/water solution first. This neutralizes the pesticides they are sprayed with…..esp. those berries!
Best juicing tip: drink juice right after juicing to get the most out of the vitamins, or store juice in air tight glass jar or bottle for up to 24 hours.
Juicing would be awesome!!!
I am going to a juicing workshop this weekend. Would love to own this juicer.
I haven’t started juicing yet, but I would love to start. A great way to get nutrition for my whole family.
I guess I don’t understand this giveaway as those who need a juicer probably won’t have many tips compared to those who do have juicers…
I’ve been saving up for a Breville as everyone says a Breville is the way to go – the easiest of all juicers to clean and they say to get a Breville for this reason, because if a juicer is hard to clean then it becomes more of a chore than an enjoyable healthy choice!
So that’s my advice! Get an easy to clean juicer so that it doesn’t become a chore, but rather a fun and tasty healthy choice of living!
Tip: drink your fresh made juice a few minutes
after making, for best absorption of nutrients!
Thanks for the tips, everyone, and for the excellent giveaway, Williams-Sonoma!
My tip would be to chop everything before and store it in bags so its ready to go when you need it!
I would love to have a new juicer! I’ve heard a lot about juicing. It’s everywhere! I don’t have a juicing tip personally because I don’t own a juicer. But Whole Living has some great recipes for juicing and making body cleansing juices to detoxify your body the healthy way with fruits and vegetables. Whole Foods Market has a video up about juicing. It states to use lots of berries or your favorite fruit to mask the bitterness of greens. You need your greens!!! Kale, Chard, Spinach, OH MY!
Always freshest fruit in season!!
not sure I have any good juicing tips but I love smoothies and would love to try this out. 🙂
I don’t have a jucier of my own, but have learned that even if you hate it throw it in, the taste is often masked by other fruits and vegetables
I would love to have this juicer so that I could make good on my resolution to be a healthy 50 y.o
dirty juicing! is that like dirty mashed potatoes? xD
I think I could get my kids to love more fruits and veggies with a juicer. This would be a great addition to our home. 🙂
My tip is to make use of the pulp too either by making crackers with it in the dehydrator or adding it into other dishes like meatloaf or soups. I even add a little to my dogs’ food to give them a vitamin boost.
OMG I a big juicer… my blog name is “Juicy Jenn” – lol. Some of my fave things to blend are: Kale, Spinach, Carrots, Apple, Orange, Ginger…mmmmmmm so good. I’m trying to incorporate it into my daily life, as well as my son’s. Also, Breville’s products are top of the line, man! 🙂 Cheers.
should know that as soon as you start cutting vegetables they do start to lose nutrients. It’s always best to cut just before juicing.
I would lve to own this!
Hoping to win a juicer so I can have a tip to share in the next round!
Always try to slip some veggies in. More variety means more vitamins!
W-S is one of my favs!!! Happy New Year.
I want this juicer it looks so nice and professional!
I would LOVE to win this! What a great start to the new year!
This is a beautiful design & a much needed kitchen tool
in our home – a growing toddler, a soon to be breastfeeding
Mom, and a Dad on a mission to get fit.
I would die for a juicer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please pick me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Heard so many good things about juicing, would love to have a good quality juicer.
Add ginger to everything!
I’d like a juicer that actually works! My husband purchased the “big boss juicer” from amazon and it stinks.
I have the old one and I like to make apple or carrot juices. Pulps are definitely used in making apple or carrot cakes. I also used juicer to make baby foods.
My best tip for juicing, if you haven’t gotten started just do it. It truly opens your eyes to a whole new world of healthy.
Best tip to offer: share the fruits & vegetables of your labor. Giving a glass or shot to someone can add that much needed boost they’ve been waiting for out of the whole day. Cheerfully share!
i love juicing! Use cranberries, they are soo good for you and taste yummy!
apple, carrot, & ginger is my favorite!
carrots, apples, & ginger is my favorite!
Time for a kale run!
Juice is a great way to start the day!!
I always like to add a few sprigs of parsley into my juicing concoctions!
It naturally freshens your breath, boosts your immune system, and is beneficial in so many ways!
Winning the juicer will be a great way to figure out tips and share with others!
Always buy organic! Also a small chuck of ginger a day helps protect your body from cold and flu season. 🙂
Just do it! That’s my best tip.
Make sure your fruits/veggies are fresh!
Follow juicing with 1/2 cup water to clean out and extract the last bit of juice.
I love to juice all fruits & veggies with the skins on! So many added vitamins 🙂
For a super immune system booster add fresh ginger and a clove of garlic.
I do have a tip too and that is to drink your juices through a straw to protect the enamel on your teeth. Juice although good for you is not good for your teeth 🙂
This looks gorgeous! What a way to start the New Year!
Unfortunately, I have no juicing tip yet. Would love to be able to start juicing !!
Juice please!
I don’t have a tip (yet). Changing my diet to help combat cyclical vomiting issues. I’ve done a lot, but this would help even more!
would love to win!
Use lots of greens with your fruit for extra vitamins
My best juicing tip is add a tad bit of lemon juice to your freshly made juice, it keeps colors bright longer 🙂
Just started making fresh juice and smoothies for my twins using a sub par machine, would love this! Thanks for offering!
My juicer had a hard time this week trying to juice my 2 year olds plastic fruit. I was in the shower and he decided he was thirsty. Oops – parent of the year award- I’m hoping the prize is a new juicer!
Would love to have a juicer! Thanks!
Add flavor to your creations by adding ginger, cilantro, mint, cayenne, and other herbs and spices.
I don’t have a juicer of my own, but have been to a few technique classes where a juicer was utilized. And what I have learned and plan to do when I get a juicer of my own is to use a blend of vegetables and fruits. I was surprised to learn that the vegetables and fruits, often ones that I don’t like and will not normally eat like bananas and cauliflower, are often masked well when mixed with other fruits. So throw it in!
I add carrots to almost everything, even fruit juices. Great nutrients.
I never had or used a juicer, so unfortunately I do not have any juicing tips. However, if I win this amazing juicer, I will create a list of juicing tips!!! Hoping I am the lucky winner!!!
I’m so excited to start using lifestyle. I’ve done a ton of researching over the Internet to find the right juicer for me and Breville seems to be the one!
This would fit right in to my stainless steel kitchen. My blender just does not like to blend or do smoothies!
I don’t have a juicer yet, but my mom drinks from one everyday, she says always add something green and leafy.
Don’t be afraid to try combinations that sound unusual – some of my best juices and smoothies have been happy accidents!
So exciting! Would LOVE a juicer!! Thank you for the opportunity!! 🙂
Best tip: make sure to drink your juice within 45 min (at most) after making it as nutrients start to break down right away
We love juicing! Ginger is a nice way to spice it up and give your juice a kick!
Please Santa, I don’t mind late Christmas present.
I want a free juicer please!!!!
I love the flavor of kale and other bitter greens in my juices and smoothies; however, this was definitely an acquired taste. I always keep bananas and blueberries on hand. Their strong flavor and texture, together, make a juice or smoothie a lot more palatable and “disguise” the bitterness of the greens. I also keep the pulp to use in baking.
Make xtra for freezer. Grab on the way to work, thawed and ready for lunch time.
I can’t leave my best juicing tip because I have never tries juicing. The juicer would be a wonderful addition to our healthy lifestyle living changes our family of seven has been making. Thank you in advance!
Looking at this juicer sent chills down my spine. Juice on!!
prepare your fruits and veggies before hand for multiple batches…also, save the little plastic bags you get your veggies in to put in the collecting container… one less thing to wash out!
add a little ginger and a tiny bit of garlic to the sweet stuff. And some good quality vanilla!
I just asked my mom the other day if she still had her juicer, of course she replied no. It was something she didn’t use. I was just thinking of buying one b/c I have a 2 year old that is just starting to drink juice and I would love to be able to provide homemade juice for him to enjoy instead of watered down sugary ones from the store! Thanks for the opportunity.
What an excellent way to celebrate my birthday and start the year off in a healthy way.
I really want a juicer!
I need a juicer!
Go crazy! Experiment with different flavor combinations, an excellent way to try new fruits and greens.
Do not try and juice a banana. Or an avacodo. You get nothing! Instead blend your fresh juice with them a blender.
Take on day to just prep your fruits and veggies and put in bag or container then everyday you are set to juice!! and I love to add a granny smith apple to everything!!
Can’t leave a tip because I don’t have a juicer but I would love to start juicing! I see it as a great way to get fit and stay healthy! I understand carrots are the bomb!
Breville is the best!
A juice fast is a great way to detox the body, flush the colon and revitalize the cells. Sip your juice, never gulp it down.
Juice small quantities of strong, straight flavors like cilantro or dill, then mix the juices with EVOO and drizzle over whatever you’re serving for dinner.
I am starting the Clean Cleanse this week and winning a Breville Juice Fountain Duo would be an incredible aid in my cleanse! Thank you.
What a great tool to have, especially after watching Joe Cross’ “Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead” video!
Just read that I was suppose to leave a juicing tip to enter the contest…make sure you cut off the end of beets before juicing otherwise the juice tastes musty.
I’d like one too.
I love juicing…the benefits are amazing!!!
I can’t wait to get my hands on one!
my juicing tip is to buy organic products or to wash fruits and veges really well using baking powder in water
Just do it. Don’t just think about it.

What a great way for my daughter in law and son to enjoy some great nutrition…especially since they are expecting my first grandchild!!! Hopefully I will win it for them. And who knows, maybe it will be a handy way to prepare toddler foods!
i have never owned a juicer so i have no tips but i would really love to own one some day and make fresh juice
I would love to start juicing!
Rotate between leafy greens and hard vegetables when adding it to the juicer. The hard vegetables helps process the leafy greens that might of not gotten processed.
Add a handful of fresh spinach to any juice for added vitamins. You can’t taste it, but a great way to get your greens.
Juice intelligently! #1 mistake.. throwing anything in. Learn that fruits and veggies require different enzymes to digest.. so try to juice/drink them separately for best nutrient absorption and digestion. They compete with each other in digestion and lower the overall nutrient value… which isn’t that WHY we juice?
The only EXCEPTION is APPLE.. they are actually neutral and can be used with veggies or fruits and are great for sweetening/balancing harsher flavors. But be sure to buy organic apples!.. (apples topped the charts as the most contaminated produce with pesticides) and when you buy organic, you can throw the whole apple in and get ALL those lovely nutrients!
Never stop juicing! Wow, Williams-Sonoma, I’m ready to buy a juicer and then you keep giving them away! How can I justify putting out that kind of money if I might win a beautiful Breville juicer from you? What’s a girl to do? 🙂
I would love to start juicing with the Breville Juice Fountain Duo. Fingers and toes are crossed that I win!!
I’ve mastered the blender, but a juicer would be a dream come true!! My best tip is to gather all ingredients in advance, and I like to add a little spinach to things, because it doesn’t taste like much and pumps up the vitamins!
I have wanted a juicer for quite sometime and now that I’ve just had a baby I guess my tip would be to make an extra cup! Natural juice is so much better for babies!!
I don’t have a juicer yet, but If I did have one I would actually use it. : )
I just saw the movie Fat Sick and Nearly Dead last night and became motivated to start Juicing. I went to go buy a new juicer today and out of coincidence my mother-In-law sent me the link for this Blog for the chance to win the juicer. My tip is to make sure you use a little lemon to cut some of the bitterness of the leafy greens.
No tips as yet if i must give one it is to start juicing before you are told by your doctor. was told by my doctor for my health sake I should start juicing and this would be a great start
My best tip on juicing is to do the fruit juice in the morning and the green juice with veggies in the afternoon.

I would love to start juicing… especially with this beautiful juicer.
Not so much a juicing tip but a juicing recipe. This is one I’ve used for years…and made using my sister’s Breville juicer, which I LOVE! It makes juicing apples and cucumbers super easy.
1 english cucumber
1 green apple
Handfuls of spinach
1 stalk celery
1″ ginger root
Wedge of lemon with rind
Enjoy!
This is so awesome that yall are doing this. Juicing has peaked my interest lately and it’d be even more fun to learn on a free juicer ha!:D
Buy 5 lb bags of organic carrots!
My juicing tip is to start with the freshest ingredients possible. Using fresh vegetables and fruits can make all the difference.
LOVE all the tips!! Now I’m ready to win the juicer and get to juicing!! Thanks WS for doing this giveaway!
This juicer would be awesome especially to start my day off healthy
If you wish to add new vegetables for juicing, try adding one at a time. If by chance your stomach doesn’t handle the juice too well, you’ll be able to tell which vegetable caused irritation and omit it in the future. Happy juicing!
Jucing is awesome.
Add a little piece of ginger to most drinks and it just kicks the taste up a notch:)
I love juicing, just wish I had a juicer 🙂

Juicers are the bomb.

I have a blender, but I would love to learn the benefits of juicing!
I love juicing…you get more energy quickly and fast absorbing.
My tip would be to include youngsters in the process so they are aware of what healthy ingredients go into the juice.
My kids and I love to juice things from the backyard garden!
My best juicing tip is to freeze all our fresh picked berries form our summers here in WA state in snack size freezer bags. That is the perfect amount to juice or make into mixed berry/fruit juice or smoothies. Whatcom county berries are amazing, and if you pick your own, you save tons of money and it is farm to table eating!
Always prep ahead of time .
I don’t have a juicer, and I’ve never juiced before, but I think a good tip is use lots of green veggies (kale, spinach, etc.) and use green apples to sweeten things up.
I am looking to increase my healthy lifestyle need a juicer. Thanks for all the comments.
The best tip and can offer you about juicing is this-Blood sugar will spike if you gulp down a big glass of it.Make tiny batches of juice and sip it slowly.Add ice or water when blending.
Blending in ice, making it more of a smoothie! Extra delicious
Juice me
For many years my mother controlled her cholesterol with natural juices with great results 🙂
We have an old early 90’s juice at my house which fails to impress me, so I am in dire need of a new one. My juicing tip would have to be including a bit of ginger in everything. It gives it a zest and is so good for you!
Put an apple in for natural sweetness, and pop a piece of jalapeno for a little kick! I would have so much to learn from juicing, and would love to start witha free juicer!!

This looks like a great juicer! I have not yet tried this, but I think I should.

Juicing would help me to become a happier, healthier person. Consuming the fresh abundance of vitamins and minerals from fresh juice makes me feel bright again!
I would love to start juicing!
My juicing tips are: (1) place a biodegradable pulp bag in the pulp container of the juicer for easier cleanup, and (2) always use the freshest fruits and veggies you can get your hands on.
A little honey always makes the veggie juice go down!
Add a little spice to your juice, like cinnamon or nutmeg!
I think juicing is one of the most healthy ways to create great smoothies and delicious drinks, Juice on……
Juice is powerful stuff. Be sure not to overload with too much of one type of vegetable. For suggestions always use a recipe. Also, if it’s too bitter, always add carrots or apple to sweeten it up!
I definitely want to start juicing and think that an actual juicer will produce better juice than me wringing the fruits and vegetables with my bare hands.
I’ve found that sometimes if you run your fruit through the juicer a 2nd time you will get more juice.
The timing couldnt be more perfect for your giveaway! I recently sent out a poll on Facebook inquiring about Juicer recommendations as I’m looking to start juicing. I don’t have any tips yet, but plan to start every morning with fresh ” juices” for my 2yo son & myself. This Breville Duo Juicer would give me the opportunity to do this & add nutritional value to our mornings! Thank you!
I have never juiced before but have been wanting to start for awhile. My best tip (even though I haven’t begun yet) is to make it fun 🙂 There are some really great websites and recipes out there to help beginners and to spice things up!! Also, adding spinach or kale is a great way to get your leafy greens in and pack a ton of extra nutrients into your drink!
No tips because I don’t have a juicer. Can’t wait to start!
I would think it important to leave the skins on, since this is where the nutrients are densely packed. I am looking forward to juicing!
I like to use my leftover pulp for raw breads and crackers, and to add into my other baking items like cakes, cookies, and brownies. It helps you utilize all the nutrition that comes with the vegetables and fruits.
I line my with compostable bags so that I can throw my discards and pulp in the compost without any fuss.
I have wanted to try juicing for a few months now. This would be the PERFECT addition to my kitchen and my lifestyle changes!
Love it. Saw this on Google +. Thanks

My jack la lane juicer is not as good as the Breville. I would give anything to have an upgrade.
I soak my greens in water to make them heavier and more dense…not sure if it really helps!
I have an orange tree in my back yard that produces mountains of oranges that I love to juice. This jucier would make my life so much easier.

I wanna win! This juicer could help me with my New’s Years Resolutions. Thanks Williams-Sonoma and Breville for the contest.
Although potatoes have gotten a bad rap in the past, they are very nutrious, so instead of frying or baking, I just peel and place in juicer for a breakfast drink!
Just watched Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead this last weekend. SO ready to start juicing!
So many tips, how to choose! I always leave the skin on to not leave out any nutrients and love to include Ginger for its many health benefits. Apple, Carrot, Beat, Ginger – that will cure any hangover, add Kale to make it even better!
Don’t have any juicing tips as I’ve never used one, but hopefully will soon…I have a very picky 2 year old and a husband that is a fitness junkie but really bad about getting his daily dose of fruits and veggies.
What a way to start the new year!!!!!
A great juicer is the key to juicing, which brings us good health! I would love a Breville Juice Fountain Duo for juicing with my large family! Healthy kids make a happy Mama!
Save the pulp to make your own crackers!
I want this juicer sooo bad! I love fresh juice more than anything!
Add a banana to the bitter greens. It adds much needed sweetness!!
I was just in a conversation with some acquaintances about which juicer is the best and what kind of investment is warranted when making the purchase. My suggestions where to take into account how many other uses there are for your juicer, make sure you can get as many nutrients as possible (that the machine is not binding the pulp up and keeping it but that it is ‘juicing’ as much fruit or veggie as possible).
I love to start my morning with fresh juice!!
A juicer would be perfect for our family. I live with my daughter, son-in-law and their 3 children. The would be a prize for the entire family.
Use the leftover pulp to make your own veggie broth!

Great way to use up aging produce.
We don’t own a juicer either, but we’d love one! I would experiment with using the pulp in different ways – add to veggie burgers and falafel, add to baked goods like cookies and breads, add to soups and stews……I bet the list is endless!
Juicing keeps you looking & feeling young! It makes my skin glow! 🙂
Would love to try juicing.
I’d love to enjoy fresh juice each day..a good way to get all those rich greens in!!.
I am a novice juicer but so far I love it. I have no tips as I am just getting started, but I do like juicing kale.
Great way to sneak in some vegetables throughout the day! I hope to win this juicer so I can develop some tips of my own.
Juicing makes me feel ALIVE & PRETTY because my body just loves to feel beautiful/healthy on the inside. My mom taught me to always include kale, beats and cabbage in juicing because it cleanses and balances my system. My tip is to juice kale, beats and cabbage once a week and drink it throughout the day because it’s great for cleansing and balance; especially for women.
My husband borrowed a juicer from a friend and made a great carrot juice. It tasted so much better when he added a Gala apple. It added just enough tart/sweet to make the juice so much yummier.
this would be awesome for my family, Thank you
My bf has been wanting one so I’d love to win this and surprise him! 🙂
I am a cancer survivor and attribute that to healthly living and eating habits. I have longed for a juicer and this one would be awesome!

i believe i would be healthier if i had a juicer.
Love William Sonoma and love to juice. Go with organic Apples and veg that are grown above the soil.
Best Juicing Tip? I’d say read all these other great tips cuz I don’t have a juicer yet!
I asked for one of these for Christmas, but didn’t get it. 🙁 I have had people make fresh juice for me and I’m addicted, just need a juicer.
Excited about this wonderful giveaway! Fingers crossed!
I’d love to start juicing.
Need this juicer…please 😉
Pour your juice into a blender bottle. Mixes everything up in a snap both now and for later.
My tip is to avoid fruit & vegetable combinations you don’t like.
Would love to start juicing!!!
Toss a kiwi in anything you juice.
A juicer would be a great way to add variety to the way I get fruits and veggies!
I feel healthier just thinking about drinking freshly juiced kale & apples with a little ginger…
I am a big fan of juicing – though I use a blender so that you can get all that fiber from the pulp. One tip is that if you are making a green smoothie for first timers, make it 1/2 fruit and 1/2 veggies and use veggies like spinach, carrots and romaine lettuce – it will end up green but still taste more like fruit then veggies!
Keep the motor running for about a further 15 secs after all of the produce is juiced – you will be surprised at how much juice will keep coming out of the machine.
Leave the skins on and get more nutrients!!
Would love to start juicing and blogging about it.
This would make my year!! Ive been eyeing up this juicer, but havent had any expendable money to lay out for it! Winning this would be amazing!!
I don’t juice, so I don’t have a tip. But if I won, I’d use it like crazy! Pick me! Pick me!!!
When I win the juicer, I’ll be glad to post any and all tips.
I love Williams Sonoma! I’ve never had any juicer and would so love to win one. I’ve seen some of the Breville appliances and they are amazing!
The best tip I’ve ever known about is leaving the skin on. We make lemonade with real lemons-skin and all in my blender-cloudy, but amazing!
I don’t have any tips because I’ve never made juice…but my toddler and I saw an episode of Curious George on PBS yesterday where George made juice after tasting some at a farmer’s market, and now I’m interested!
Lime juice is a subtle but really great sweetener without many calories. I use a splash of it in most of my juicing.
This is a nice giveaway! Thanks for the chance.
Concentrate on using greens.
Williams Sonoma is our go to place or everything kitchen and cooking related. My husband and I are always looking for new ways to keep our diet exciting, interesting and most if all healthy! This would be a great way to keep that going for the new year 🙂
I turned 40 on the 15th of this month, what a better way to kick off my next 40 years than juicing!
I don’t have any tips because I don’t have a juicer, but I’d love to start! 🙂
I would recommend freezing juices and/or whole tomatoes to pump up the flavor instead of using ice cubes.
My whole family could benefit from this excellent addition in nutrition. I can imagine the fun my kids would have mixing and concocting their delicious drinks!!
This would be the perfect juicer to start on a happy, healthy 2013!

My tip…don’t be afraid to try new things! Most people stick with apples, bananas, and oranges.
I’ve not tried juicing, but heard rave reviews from others who have. I would love to win this as the juicers are quite expensive for my budget right now
Here’s a juicing tip for you- you can separate your fruits & veggies in ziplock bags and freeze them. When you are ready to juice, they will still be fresh! :).
Lemons make any juice better.
Juicing is a great way to get kids involved in the kitchen, and interested in healthier eating!
Prep your fruit and veggies in advance and add fresh lime juice before drinking! Yum!
I would love to own one of these juicers so I could give you my tips!
Ginger adds a fresh zing and multiple health benefits to your juice. When using it as an added ingredient, make sure to peel the skin before putting it through the juicer. The skin can make your juice a bit grainy and/or mealy. Enjoy!
I have never used a juicer and don’t have any tips. I would love to win the Breville Juice Fountain Duo.
I would love to make my own juice.
I love this machine. I need a new one. Juicing is the best
I don’t have a “tip” per se, but I would love to start juicing for my family- I think the colors and textures would be a great way to incorporate healthy foods for the kids!

Use ingredients that you like. You don’t have to use a bunch of esoteric ingredients to get the benefits of juicing.

My only juicing tip is to stick to items (fruit or vegetable) that you like. You don’t have to use a bunch of esoteric ingredients for juicing to be good for you.
Oohhh! I would LOVE a juicer!
I would LOVE to start juicing, but know that to do so requires a really good juicer, which can be really expensive. I’d love the pulp for cooking and baking and know that my husband could really benefit from all the fresh juices in the morning!
I don’t have any tips, as I am new to juicing. Would love to win, though, and get started juicing. 😉
The best juicing tip is to stick to items (fruit or vegetable) that you like. You don’t have to use a bunch of esoteric ingredients for juicing to be good for you.

I love the juices because is healthy for your body and mind! 100% natural, specially carrots with orange and celeryone of my favorites! yummy!
I see it says to tell about your best juicing tip but I really haven’t done any juicing. I’ve been wanting to since my wife was diagnosed with MS a little over a year ago but have not been able to afford one. I’ve heard a lot of people talking about the health benefits so if I win it would definitely go to good use!
Drinking fresh juice is a great way to start the day!
I juice daily!! There’s nothing like it!! So many great benefits from juicing :))
i don’t really have a tip yet because i don’t have a juicer, but i’d say to leave the skins on the items you’re about to juice!
mmmmmm….juice!
Have always to try using a juicer!!
I have been looking at juicers and these Brevilles seem to have the best reviews. Since I don’t have one at home, my tip is to blend equal parts veggies and water in a blender or food processor and then strain through a fine mesh sieve. I also find that adding a squeeze of citrus (lemon, lime, orange) brightens the flavor. And on the health drink subject, I know they recommend not using fruits because of sugar but I like to make a delicious smoothie with banana, grapes, pear, protein powder, water and ground flax seeds. It’s really tasty and not too sweet.
This looks like a very nice juicer, would love to start juicing with it. : )
Drink as soon as you finish juicing to ensure you get all the nutrients!
kale juice ftw!!!!
Great prize! Thank you for the opportunity!
I would love a juicer!
Add beets to your juicing for extra boost of immunity.
This looks like a nice juicer, and interested in different ways to get my fruits & veggies in my diet! : )

Would love to start juicing with this.
This juicer is super cool!!! I can test already all the juices that i can do!!!
I havent juiced in years, But never felt better than when I did. Juicing is the essence of health….Dont be afraid of color, one of my favorites is carrot, apple spinach. Its a bit green, but its pure health in a glass.
My tip is using organic vegetables and fruits. The skins on vegetables must be left on to provide the most flavorfully delicious juice!!
Leave the tops on strawberries for extra nutrition! 🙂
Juicing is a great way to detox and improve the fuel that revs my engines.
This is an awesome juicer. Love Breville.
My best “tip” would be to use fruits and veggies you have grown in your own garden, and if you get a chance always welcome children into your garden and show them where real food comes from.
I’d love to own a juicer. I borrowed a friend’s recently. Very handy for healthy living.
Fruit and honey mask the strong taste of “greens”.
I could really use a good juicer.
Love Love Love juicing!
Best refreshing juice ever: papaya, water & sugar to taste.
Kale!!!!!!! Delicious with anything and soooo healthy! Please pick me so my mom can have her juicer back!
Would love a juicer to try out some healthy new recipes!
I have never juiced so you shouldn’t want any tips from me…
I love juices, but have found that juicers are extremely expensive. Would love to win one 🙂
This looks like a great juicer! I would like to start juicing regularly, and I love my other Breville products (such as the pie maker) from Williams-Sonoma. My best juicing tip? Use juicing as a complement to a healthy diet, rather than as a 1-3 day cleanse; you’ll better reap the benefits of juicing if you include a fresh green/vegetable/fruit juice as a regular treat!
To actually use the juicer!
Have fun! The possibilities are endless! Prep your items in advance and make use of left over pulp
Keep it simple! I like to mix a base and and acid- like a banana with an orange, it really balances the flavor and nutrients out.
Don’t be afraid of veggies! Paired with fruit flavors, juicing is a great way to get those greens in!
Juicing is the best way to trick my kids to “eat’ green veggies !!!
I have wanted of these for quite a while now. I would love one.
Favorite Tip: Store Juice in Mason Jars, for extended freshness and ease of shake-up!!! Happy Juicing 🙂 ((((hope I win)))
I never juice but I would love to now that I am eating fresh fruits and veggies and giving up processed foods for me and my kids. Thanks!
What a way to get healthy for the new year.
I would love, love, love one of these! Juicing is so absolutely good for you. Vitamins and nutrients….
The green juice looks really healthy! I would love to try it.
I like to add a little honey to mine. Healthy and tasty.
I am so excited to check out this juicer! I want to live healthier!
Kale kale and more kale! Kale with anything is so delicious and healthy. I’m ready to have my own juicer so I can stop borrowing my moms’!
I love juicing, our juicer right now has been broken for a while but I fixed it with duct tape so it still works but is on it’s last leg,so a new juicer would be FABULOUS!
my tip is use ripe fruits.
I would love to win this juicer!
Would <3 to own that juicer.
My favorite “juicing tip” is that carrot based juices help give me the “get-up-and-go” I need to make it through the dreary winter months… probably the complex vitamin B and other nutrients found in carrots… plus it makes a beautiful cheery color of orange! I would love to start making my own juices!
I am not a juicer yet, but am looking forward to trying . I’m sure all of these tips will help.
I haven’t juiced before but would love to start~I have a garden and always wanted to take advantage of the abundance of vegetable we have that we can’t eat or give away, and I think this would be a great way!
I love to juice every morning. My “base” juice usually consists of kale (or sometimes spinach or both!), lemon, ginger and parsley. Then I add pear, or apple, or carrots to sweeten. Delicious with so many health benefits!
Don’t have a juicer yet but we have so many fresh vegetable and fruit stands in South Florida this would be a great way to take advantage of them.
I don’t have a juicer, but I’ve heard there are a lot of good uses for the leftover pulp!
I’ve been wanting a juicer. I’d love to win this! Thanks!
My best tip is to not buy a cheap juicer. I tried it and it was a mess, I need a really good one like the Breville Juice Fountain Duo, or nothing at all!
Free juicer!!!!
Love adding spinach and / or kale to everything. You really can’t taste it but you get all the good nutrients they provide. 🙂
I have never tried juicing but i would love to!
Love the idea – just need the equipment!
I would love a juicer! My favorite juicing tip is to combine fruits and vegetables, making the juice that much healthier and slightly less sweet…. Love it!
Juicing is a delicious way to get substantive nutrition. We’d love to win!
Healthy and tasty way to get your vitamins on a daily basis.
Want to start juicing and what a great way to use all of the fresh vegetables and fruit we have in South Florida.
We started juicing last year and the whole family loves it! They all help me prep the produce by washing and cutting it and then help me clean up too. We use all sorts of fruits and veggies – apples, beets, celery, kale, spinach, kiwi, carrots, ginger, hard berries, etc. Sometimes, I have extra juice left over and I freeze it in ice cube trays and then put it in soups and pastas. Extra nutrients all around!
My mother has been juicing since I can remember. Her speedy recovery from a lumpectomy and masectomy was because of the main nutrition she had due to juicing. My best tip to anyone is to drink the juice within the next couple of minutes. If not, you can freeze in ice cube trays (as I do for my kids drinks). I also add a bit of ginger to everything and balance some sweet fuits with vegetables.. This would be a really nice gift for her since her juicer is pretty old and beat up..
Best juicing tips: organic fruits and vegetables and not using too many kinds. Keep it simple.
I want to juice kale and pear with lemon and apple
My family is working on eating healthier and we would love a juicer to help us with getting some nutrition in while we are on the go.
Make sure to use everything, that’s where those extra nutrients are hiding!
Organic is best but if you can’t get organic, peel the fruit and vegetables first. By peeling, it rids most of the pesticides out of the produce.
Pineapple makes everything taste better!
Best juicing tip? Keep the left over pulp to add to your compost pile! You’ll thank yourself come spring 🙂
Keep it fresh, keep it tasty!
i use my pulp as mulch in my garden to grow more beautiful veggies for juicing!
Pick me, Pick me! I juice all the time and my juicer just quit on me. HELP!!
Tip – Juice isn’t just for breakfast anymore!!
fantastic addition to a better lifestyle
I would love to win a juicer!
Wash the juicer immediately after so there is no blockage and damage to the machine. Love juicing! You can incorporate so many healthy vegetables without having to taste them if you don’t want to!
No tips….but would love to start using this and I am sure tips would follow
“Chew” your juices. Juices rapidly assimilate, so swishing them around your mouth before swallowing allows the digestion process to begin by mixing the juice with saliva. Savoring your vegetable juices in this way makes a huge difference
I’ve been wanting to get into juicing at home for quite some time. This would be a great way to start!
I’m hoping that juicing will help heal my eczema!!
LOVE THIS! I so want one, thanks Williams Sonoma for an awesome blog!
nothing better than a juicer for fruit sauces, coulis…
My partner is getting ready for jaw surgery this month…a juicer would come in very handy!
I love to take the pulp left over from juicing and mix it into sauces for dinner. The kids never know the difference.
Don’t have a tip cause I can’t get motivated to start juicing. Help!
A vegetable juice a day, keeps the doctor away!
I would love nothing more than to make juices for my almost 2 year old who we strictly feed organic and whole foods. Not to mention I’m about to give birth to our second child and it would be an amazing compliment to optimize nutrition during nursing!
My tip is to get a much better juicer than the one I have! The one pictured looks awesome!
So anxious to start juicing and reap the benefits!
My tip is to listen to your body when coming up with new combinations of juices. Of course, you shouldn’t be afraid to try new things, but if the thought of a particular combination makes your stomach feel weird, chances are that’s your body telling you it wouldn’t be good for you.
My best tip is to experiment with all kinds of fruit/veggie combinations. You never know what you might discover!
I don’t have a juicing tip because i don’t have a juicer yet, but i’d LOVE LOVE LOVE to get one!
Oh my how I would love to be the random winner!!!! I love randomness and winning this incredible juicer would take random to another level!! Plus, it MUST be meant to be because my doctor just told me at my appointment this a.m. that I must develop a better lifestyle if I want to be around and suggested juicing! 🙂
love this store!
I love cucumber on everything!!!!
So ready to start juicing!!
This juicer is super cool!
I’d love to give juicing a try!
I would love to start juicing.
Unfortunately, I have no tips because I don’t yet have a juicer! This one looks like a great one to start!
I’D LOVE LOVE LOVE A JUICER!
I’ve always wanted a juicer! 😉
Juicing tip – save the pulp after pressing your juice and incorporate into your baking! Great way to use every ingredient to its fullest potential and stay healthy! Fresh juice & a delicious spinach bread? Win-win!
Juicing tip: fresh ginger is great in veggie and fruit juices, but a little goes a long way.
Something to get more nutrients in to make a spinach smoothie 😀
Best tip for juicing… there are no rules.. throw it all in there… and enjoy
Use a glass container to store you juice, not plastic. Plastic has chemicals and toxins that can seep into your juice.
A good way to get more juice from your produce is to run wet pulp back through the juicer. There’s always some extra juice in there.
I don’t have any tips yet because i don’t have a juicer. That’s why I hope I can win this one. I have read many articles about juicing, though, and they all point out how important it is to prep all of your produce in advance to save time in the mornings.
Juicing is amazing! If I only had a Breville Juice Fountain Duo to make some amazingly healthy juices!
Always prep ahead of time!
Add a squeeze of lemon to your glass of juice. It brightens up all combinations and is great for detoxing your liver.
add something with a bit of density so its a bit thicker and yummier!
I like to keep the motor running for about 15 secs after I am finished putting everything in. You’ll be surprised at how much juice will keep coming out of the machine.
If your juicer has a pulp bin, put a small waste bag in it. It saves time washing it afterwards. I hate spending 15 minutes cleaning for one glass.
Some fruits and veggies are just not super easy for fresh juice such as bananas and berries. Try to stay away from “mushy” produce.
Try not to use more than 4 different fruit & veggies at a time for a great juice every time.
Drink your juice as soon as possible after juiced! It starts to lose its nutritional value as time passes and can turn a funny color such as apple or banana as time passes.
It is such a big time saver if you prepare your produce for juicing ahead of time.Wash is, cut it up, and store it in a zip lock bag in the refrigerator. Then when you want a quick snack, it won’t seem so tiresome to make.
Always use a glass container to store your juice! I made the mistake of storing my carrot juice in a plastic container and left it out by mistake overnight, in the morning there was carrot juice all over my counter!
I like to put a little bit of banana in my juice mix and blend it like a milkshake. This reduces the bitterness in your drink if you’re using grapefruit for example.
I haven’t had a juiced drink in probably 10 years, back when my mom made them for us! I used to love it when she made them for us. You can really toos a lot of different fruit in there and it almost always tastes great! I have always wanted one, but I don’t think we’d ever have the extra money to purchase one. This would be great! Awesome give-away!
When I first starting juicing, I thought everything is healthy and all these fruits MUST taste good together. I learned the hard way, mixing too many types of produce together makes a funky tasting juice sometimes.
No tips yet – hoping to start juicing this winter and learn through trial and error! Though I hear adding ginger to mostly veggie recipes brightens up the flavor.
I like to use the pulp. It is a great way to save money and get extra nutrition!
I don’t have any experience with juicing, so I have no tips to offer. I’d love to win one as cleaning up my diet is a big goal for this year.
My tip is to try to avoid overly sweet juices. Sweet juices are nice as a treat, but you I to minimize the sugar content.
I’ve been looking to get into juicing. This would be a great starting point.
The best juicing tip I know is to make your leafy greens as dense as possible by rolling them together before pushing them through the feeding tube. You get MUCH more juice out of them this way. Happy juicing!
My “tip” would be to prep your fruit & veggies in advance…saves time!
Toss and apple into everything!
Not really a tip since we don’t have a juicer yet, but we would save the pulp to add back into juices or use in baking!
My best juicing tip is to leave the skins on most vegetables and fruits. There are so many nutrients in those skins, why take the time and energy to remove them before you juice?
I’d love a juicer!
