What doughnut spot makes the best doughnuts in the world? That’s the question we’re hoping to answer during our first-ever Doughnut Week, and we want to hear from the biggest doughnut expert: you. Did you have a transcendent doughnut experience eating a bear claw at a bake shop in Boise? Did Manhattan’s famous croissant-doughnut hybrid live up to its famed name? Or was it an apple fritter at a walk-up window in West Hollywood that changed your life?
Share your favorite doughnut spot with us below or on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. We want to hear more about it!

Doughnut Plant in NY is my favorite! Their creme brûlée doughnut is to die for!
Krispy Kreme glazed creme filled are my favorite doughnuts. My new favorite is from Angelo Elia Bakery and Sandwich Shop. They have a doughnut with a choice of filling. I love it with the Diplomat Creme, a combination of whipped cream and custard. Everything there is wonderful. Yum!
Kane’s in Saugus, MA. Best hands down.
Louisiana-style donuts known as beignets beat all others. When in New Orleans go to Café du Monde or Costas. Regular donuts will never be the same.
We’d have to agree—almost nothing beats a beignet in New Orleans.
Ohlins Bakery in Belmont,Massachusetts
Revolution Doughnuts in Atlanta, Georgia…. Can’t believe they are vegan & so light and airy!!!
In my opinion, nothing will ever beat a Krispy Kreme!
Top Donuts in Watsonville, CA. It is owned by a husband and wife who do it all themselves. They have the BEST donuts and are the nicest people you will ever meet. Sometimes things like apple fritters can be greasy, but not theirs. I love their buttermilk bars. And you can get a glazed twist that is almost a foot long!
They all look good, munchy.
Two dozen please!
Well, I would have to say…. I have had most all of the donuts from the above bakeries. Hands down the best donut, I have had is from a little place called Five Daughters Bakery in Nashville. Their donuts have 100 layers. Made fresh each day. My very favorite is the quinn and the orange blossom. Out of this world. Worth a drive from Atlanta to Nashville just for one of these babies !!
I love maple bars. I’ve had one at VooDoo Donuts, Austin, TX, Side Car Donuts, Costa Mesa, CA, and Mag’s Donuts, Irvine, CA. Hands down, Mag’s Donuts is hard to beat.
The best all around baked goods place in the world is Briermere’s Farms on Sound Avenue in Riverhead, N.Y. They bake fresh everything, and you will never taste better pies, cookies, doughnuts, brownies, cakes no matter how far and wide you search!
