Mother Magazine’s Gift Picks for #EveryMom

 

This Mother’s Day, more than ever, we want to honor moms for all of the incredible things that they do. Whether it’s your next-door neighbor or your stepsister, there’s one everywhere you turn: the small business owner who teaches her children about being an entrepreneur, the stay-at-home mom who makes organic baby food from scratch, the power broker who still makes time to read to her daughter or son at night.

 

We asked Katie Hintz-Zambrano and James Kicinski-McCoy, co-founders of Mother and two of the most incredible mothers we know, to tell us about the mothers they most admire, as well as how they plan to honor them come May 8th.

For my San Francisco girlfriends: Dipped spoons and homemade cookie mix

“I’m lucky to have a really large community of fellow mothers in San Francisco. We all really support each other, emotionally and in a business-sense! I think giving them a homemade cookie mix in a jar, and one of these beautiful dipped spoons would be the perfect token of my affection and appreciation.”

“My mother really deserves it all! She’s the sweetest person I know, a loving mother to her three children, and the best grandmother Diego could ever wish for!
