In addition to being an author, producer, and TV host, Bravo personality Andy Cohen recently added “dad” to his resume. This past February, Cohen welcomed his son Benjamin Allen to the world and it was love at first sight. That’s why we weren’t surprised when Cohen designed a spatula for our “No Kid Hungry” partnership, that he drew inspiration from the recent addition to his family.
Cook for a Cause
In case you’re not familiar, No Kid Hungry is an incredibly important nonprofit that wants to end childhood hunger. 13 millions kids in the United States struggle with hunger, and teachers around the country report that three out of four students regularly come to school hungry.
Williams Sonoma is committed to helping this cause. We have raised 8 million dollars for No Kid Hungry, which translates to roughly 80 million meals. We’ve been able to do this through events, Chefs’ Cycle for No Kid Hungry, and of course our celebrity-designed spatulas — including Any Cohen’s.
Any Cohen’s Colorful Spatula
Cohen’s spatula has alternating colorful stripes that looks like the color has been scribbled in with a marker. The scribbles are something you might expect from a child, which is exactly the point. “As a new dad, it’s important to me more than ever to make sure all kids get the food they need to grow up healthy and strong,” Cohen explained about his design. “I’m fortunate to have a platform that reaches millions and believe I have a responsibility to shine more light on the issue of childhood hunger in the U.S., and encourage my fans to help No Kid Hungry reach more kids in need.”
You can feel great about grabbing Cohen spatula (for just $15!) because Williams Sonoma gives 30 percent of the sales from the celebrity spatulas to No Kid Hungry. Check out Cohen’s spatula here and all the other designs here.
