This week’s in-store free cooking classes will teach you the essentials of knife work in the kitchen. Kids will also have an opportunity to learn how to make dinner for the family, too.
In our adult technique classes on Sunday, September 27, master the art of chopping, slicing, and dicing like a professional chef. We’ll learn about the differences between German and Japanese knives, as well as the basic knife skills you need for everyday cooking, and tips on how to keep your knives sharp. At the end of the class, we’ll transform all that cut-up produce into a simple, delicious lunch.
On Saturday, September 26, at 10 a.m., we’ll be offering children ages 8-13 a chance to make dinner for the whole family. We’ll show them how to pitch in on everything from salad to dessert. Kids will emerge from the class with such great recipe ideas, we guarantee families will ask them for a repeat performance!
