This weekend’s Williams-Sonoma free cooking classes will teach you the basics of brewing coffee and espresso drinks at home. We’ve also partnered with American Girl to offer kids a chance to build their own delicious lunchbox.
Enter our adult technique class on Sunday, September 20 an amateur, leave a connoisseur. If choosing between a dizzying array of coffees and machines seems a bit bewildering, then this class is perfect for you: you’ll learn about different coffee roasts and grinds, as well as receive an overview of a variety of coffee- and espresso-making machines.
On Saturday, September 19 at 10 a.m., we’ll be offering kids ages 8-13 a chance to build their own lunches. We’re offering this special in-store class in partnership with American Girl, and recipes will include bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato sandwiches, turkey-cranberry sandwiches, veggies with buttermilk ranch dip, and lemony-berry bars. Classes are $30 per child, and 20 percent of the proceeds will go to Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign. Class size is limited to 12 students, so call your local Williams-Sonoma store to sign up.
