Love all things kitchen and cooking? Then stop into your local Williams Sonoma store this Sunday, June 4th, for the latest in our Chefs’ Collective Series of classes: Vitamix Essentials with chef Joshua McFadden.
If you call yourself a fan of food, chances are that you’ve been touched by the cooking of chef Joshua McFadden. The chef, whose kale salad creation set off America’s years-long kale craze, is out with a new cookbook, Six Seasons: A New Way with Vegetables. We asked the vegetable whisperer, who is currently co-owner of Ava Gene’s and Tusk in Portland, OR, to share simple, inventive recipes that are perfect for home cooks. (You can see one of his hit recipes, for the best raw asparagus salad ever, here.) In this weekend’s class, we’ll showcase some of our favorite recipes from the book using the Vitamix, including a delicious (you guessed it) Kale Pasta Sauce that will become a go-to for weeknight dinners.
